in Australia. Customer service was continually unhelpful & suggested I buy an adaptor & offered $10 discount which I never received. The straightener was expensive, took months to arrive & then I needed to source an adaptor to be able to use it. I’ve persevered with this straightener, but it isn’t a snug fit in the adaptor either so extremely frustrating to use as it drops out of the adaptor plug. I could throw good money after bad & have an electrician alter the plug but it’s less effort to buy another one to replace it. I no longer trust this company & will never purchase another Karmin again. Bad enough I’ve wasted money because of misleading advertising & terrible customer service but now it will simply be added to polluting landfill.

it had a UK power plug that cannot be used in Australian power sockets. I was on an Australian website and paid in Australian dollars yet received a product that could not be used in Australia.

The website did not indicate that the hair straightener was not suitable for use in Australia. After another email to Karmin explaining the situation their response was: "I hope all is well. It will need a small adapter as its with a UK plug, it will work there though. The plug adapter must not have arrived inside the package . I apologize for not receiving the adapter."

So now I am expected to buy an adaptor and pay for postage as we are currently in a harsh lockdown in Sydney. They have never sent me out a replacement adaptor and it has now been over a month since I received the straightener. Overall my experience with this company was quite disappointing.

Exactly what I was looking for – This product is amazing, it is easy to use and fits well in my hand. It doesn't snag my hair like my old one did and it heats up very fast. been using this for about 4 or 5 months and I use it 1-2 times a week and it does an amazing job. Also the color and look is nice too (though that was not my priority when buying it - I got mine in white).

It has multiple heat settings and a little red light to indicate when it is done heating up. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a good flat iron. Also my hair is fairly curly (it is between a 2c and 3a) and it is normal thickness (not thin but not super thick), also it is slightly longer than shoulder length by 1 or 2 inches and it takes me about 20 minutes to straighten all my hair with this flat iron.

hair! The first time I used it on my birthday I kept getting compliments on my hair all night long at the casino! They also have a three year warranty for any defects which is great! Their customer service is great and very responsive. My straightener was too hot on the outside and they said they would send a replacement free! That's what I call customer service! The best part is I chose a pink sparkly straightener which is my favorite color! I like this straightener better than my previous Sedu Revolution! The price was around $160 directly from the Karmin website which wasn't that bad compared to a lot of other high end brands. You can purchase one directly from the Karmin hair tools website. Don't hesitate order one now you won't regret it! The only thing I would say is wrong with it is it doesn't straighten quite as fast as titanium straighteners.

I love my Karmin straightener – I purchased my Karmin straightener several years ago and it is still going strong. It heats up very quickly, stays hot and allows me to straighten my hair quickly without having to go over each piece multiple tunes. I also feel that this straightener doesn’t scorch my hair like other straighteners I’ve used previously. I really like my Karmin straightener and recommend it for someone with fine hair like myself.

It's the best! – I have curly hair, really curly and I've tried many hair irons and none of them fully worked for me, until this one. It does what it supposes to do and excels at it. When it arrived I got surprised by the lightness of it and how it leaves a very straight and shiny hair. I'm really satisfied with this purchase. I recommend it.

Love this styling iron – I love this styling iron. I have had it for years and it works great. My grandkids come over and use it and like it too. I use a lot of product on my hair and I wipe it off before it cools down and then wipe it again before I use it and the plates are clean. If mine ever quits, I'm buying another one. I bought in 2012 and still works great!

replacement. [name removed] has been telling me that she has requested a new shipment for the past month and won't respond to my questions. Please don't waste your money on purchasing this poor quality product. I have fine hair and use it at the highest temperature and it doesn't feel as hot as it should. I am sure that a lot of the reviews on their page are fake.

Decent – It's a decent flat iron, but within 6 months the ceramic plates started to lock up (get stuck pushed in), which causes my hair to gets snagged in the plates causing breakage to my hair. I have to constantly fix it. I thought this was gonna be better than the CHI, but unfortunately it doesn't match up. I do like the width of the plates compared to the CHI though.

and been waiting over a month now and decided to ask a friend to use hers since I mentioned I ordered one in conversation with her and she said she has one and that it just sits in her bottom drawer. She said she had already replaced hers once already under warranty and it took forever. I get home and tried it out and not happy I made this purchase. I had to go over hair several times before it would go straight and then when you do curls they don't hold. Towards end of use it seemed to get really hot and one of the plates felt loose. She didn't blame me when I returned it to her as she said she knows "Its Crap and that's why it sits in her drawer".

I love my Karmin! – I love my Karmin. I have very thick and course hair. Karmin is able to tame my mane! My hair has different textures. The adjustable heat settings allow me to better manage the heat on my hair. The heat is instant and sometimes my hair does snag. This product is easy to use!

Great warranty service – This iron heats up fast and stays consistently hot. Will never have any other and have recommended to friends . Had a warranty issue and company replaced with proof of purchase. Is easy to clean. LOVE the travel bag for it.

It heats up quickly, it never snags my hair, it curls well, it is super easy to use, and I LOVE the case it comes with (it's helpful for storing and also works as a great mat so the heat doesn't damage my counter top). This is an excellent product!

Best straightener I've used yet. Hello confidence!!! – I found this styling iron on a website that reviewed an array of different hair straightening tools and named the best choice for several different categories. This Karmin product was ranked best overall. Ever since I got it almost a year ago now, it has not disappointed. great iron – I bought Salon Pro Iron a few months ago and really happy with it so far. I've got thin curly hair and it was crucial for me to get an iron which will straighten it quickly but carefully so without over drying it. Karmin is doing that job perfectly!

Awesome styling iron!!! – I bought this styling iron sometime in July and have used it quite a lot since then. It heats up fast and straightens my hair the first time I pass it through, which is better than any flat iron I've had so far. It also shuts off if I forget to unplug it [which I do sometimes].
