Whisk of my KMM020 broke, bought machine in 2016. Model been discontinued. Used whisk 10 times at the most – Whisk poor quality broke after been used a few times. Expected more from such an expensive product. Model KMM020 Discontinued, only has it for 4 years. Worried that broken attachment could not be replaced. Show details

Blender breaks down – Bought the top model, Kenwood Titanium Major, in 2017. We mostly use the blender, perhaps twice a month. After a year the mixer knife broke. We replaced the entire assembly. 1,5 years later a plastic piece that transfer power from the motor to the knife is broken. Again we have to replace the same assembly - at the price of a cheap blender. Show details

Kenwood major titanium – I own a kenwood Major titanium, but I am very disappointed it’s the 2nd whisk that broke, I bought my first kenwood in 1992 and I still have the original beaters including the whisk, I seriously feel that your whisks are faulty or the workmanship is bad, with my very first kenwood I was baking weekly, I only bake now every few months.  Show details

Works well. Gets hot – The Ken wood mixer works really well, however, there are times that after extended use, the mixer gets very hot. However, it is very powerful and mixes really well. I use it for all my baking needs now. I would highly recommend it, although people have had problems with it previously.  Show details

Good but dissapointed in the quality of the food processow bowl – I have had my Kenwood for four years now and although I am happy in general I am extremly dissatisfied with the quality of the plastic food processor bowl. Mine has broken TWICE in four years. First time only after using it for about one month. Got a new bowl and now it has broken again. Very bad for such as expensive machine!  Show details

Disappointed – Waited so long for this machine. On using the step by step instructions of recipes. The machine rattles a lot even on minimum speed. I've started holding the top to keep it sturdy. I'm inclined to think its not normal & something could be wrong. The noise & uneven clanging seems to come from inside the machine :(

Unbreakable!!!!!!!!! – I love to bake breads and use a mixer to knead the dough. I wore a Breville out in 18 months and 3 years ago my wife bought the Kenwood. I bake at least twice a week and can mix up to 2 kg batches (on 1+ speed) and have to hold the machine down, because it waltzes all over the bench top. It is also versatile enough to whip 2 egg whites. I cannot… Read more ·  2

believe the abuse it takes, from whipping marshmallow and fudge to my bread dough and creaming butter and sugar. The potato peeling attachment works well peeling water chestnuts, as well as potatoes. I have just bought the pasta dies and am experimenting with them. I have found the dough consistency is critical in achieving a result. From my experience, I have no hesitation recommending the purchase of a Kenwood Major Titanium or its' attachments.

Brilliant piece of kitchen bling – Best mixer I have ever had in my life. I had previous experience with my mother’s older Kenwood, and couldn’t fault it. I knew it had to be a Kenwood for me too! And as for those who can’t get it to mix the stuff at the bottom of the bowl, try reading the instruction booklet first! The paddles are adjustable, that's the whole point of a very… Read more

expensive machine, and it can be tailored for your own needs, as each machine and bowl is going to be slightly different, as are the ingredients that each person uses. Still, I guess if you have more money than sense, there is probably no point in pointing out the obvious to you. My Kenwood mixes anything, in fact, I am sure it would give concrete a good go too!

My motto... Buy it right and buy it once! No one ever regretted buying quality! Reliable, tough, strong, efficient and capable of tackling anything I want to try! Wish it came with a second bowl, that’s my only gripe.

Mixing process of the Titanium – My husband recently bought me a brand new Kenwood Titanium Chef. I find it very frustrating to mix the simplest ingredients as it doesn't mix thoroughly. I have to stop the machine a lot, lift the whisk and try and mix the dough with a dough scraper so that it all mixes through. Has anyone had that problem? It seems that the stuff at the very bottom just doesn't get mixed in. I am very disheartened.

It carries the Kenwood Flag Proudly – I loved the retro look of the Kitchenaid mixers but a couple of friends who were into breadmaking who had them both had problems with the nylon gears failing. Apparently it is very common if you put them under heavy load - they do look good while whipping cream, though. My mother bought her Kenwood in the 70s before she passed it down to me, and… Read more

it has made at least a thousand loaves and countless other recipes without a problem, and it's still going.

I needed a larger mixer because I am keen on sausage making, and had a Kenwood Professional PG520 mincer/sausage maker that was great, but mixing near-frozen sausage meat by hand was agony and my old Kenwood wasn't big enough. So I bought the Major with all the accessories and sold the mincer. The KM is almost perfect. It has unbelievable power for mixing the stiffest dough or the coldest mince, even for larger quantities than other machines could take. The mincer and sausage maker are the same as fit the Professional but in the KM they have even more torque. The only bugbear is that I would like a larger food processor capacity. I hope that one day they will offer it.

Ken Wood changed our expectations of kitchen mixers. While a lot of Kenwood products these days are just badged generic Chinese products, the Chef is still the real thing. Capacity, power, reliability, ease of use. Food processor bowl too small.

Just bought this machine - still learning about it! – After reading the two reviews here I decided to buy this Kenwood. Harvey Norman gave me a really good deal so I came home with this massive box full of goodies. Wow! the attachments! So far I have used the mixer bowl, the food processor and the blender. I am still trying to work out the various speeds. The bowl is amazing! It is huge!!! … Read more

Great for bulk quantities. I'm a bit concerned as to how long some of the attachments will last - a little bit fiddly to get the food processor connected - but it seemed to work well. However, don't do flour in it - it comes out of the lid and the blade really isn't strong enough. It's like a mini food processor - not like my old Breville super wizz! Pastry is best made with the kmix beater - I am still trying to work out the right speed.

The blender worked well - however with the stainless steel jug attached to the top of the machine I couldn't really see what was happening. I think a see through jug - or growing a bit taller would help! The blade is easy to clean.

The machine itself feels like very good quality - I ended up taking out Harvey Norman's 'care plan' which means if something happens in the first five years they will replace it.

All in all - I think this is going to be a very handy kitchen item - it now sits proudly on the bench along with my juicer and breadmaker! The cookbook included is very nice and full of helpful information.

My only issue is that for a kitchen appliance at this price, the warranty should be longer than a year - that's why I paid extra for the extended warranty.

I will update this review as I use all the attachments. A quality machine, powerful motor, clever design - should last a lifetime! Only a one year warranty, some attachment parts look a bit flimsy

Brilliant mixer - powerful motor and an excellent range of attachments included – This is a great top line Kenwood 1500 watt motor - comes with multi-mill, stainless steel liquidizer, citrus juicer, food processor, mincer and sausage maker and flexible K beater as well as the three standard attachments - K beater, balloon whisk, splash guard and dough hook. I can't fault it - all stainless steel outer, stainless steel tools.… Read more

Fantastic machine, built to last – Got this after I killed my old Sunbeam mixing dough. I do a lot of baking, breads, cakes etc so I wanted to get something that would not only be able to deal with heavy mixes but would last and I know family members that have had Kenwoods going on 20 years. The package came with a lot of different attachments such as a juicer, mincer,… Read more ·  3

processor, liquidiser, mini food mill and scales. The processor I'm not so impressed with as it leaks flour when in use but the rest have all worked very well. The mini food mill comes with 4 jars with lids so very handy to chop and store food in.

The mixer itself is heavy! So it's not something you want to be dragging in and out of a cupboard, definitely needs bench space but it looks so good that is no hardship. The motor is high powered enough to easily deal with bread doughs and fruit cake mixes while still having the adjustment to whip up egg whites. I've mixed up triple batches of fruit cake mix and it hasn't missed a beat. The bowl cover is a blessing as well, no more splatters around the kitchen and it has a lift up tab so you can easily add ingredients while it's mixing.

All in all I'm very happy with this. A workhorse, looks good, the bowl lid is a great addition. Heavy but not a problem if you have the bench space.
