Excellent – I loved this product and would purchase it again. I think that due to the velcro, new wraps need to be purchased for additional children and is probably best not to be handed down. I felt secure knowing that my baby was safe and would not have blankets accidently cover their face while sleeping. My daughter was a wriggler from day one. We tried… Read more
swaddling her and she would wriggle her way out and cry. I tried this product and immediatly we noticed a difference. She was secure and was a lot more calm in her cot. She settled easily and slept for longer periods. I now always buy one of these as a gift for new parents. After lots of washing, the velcro becomes less sticky and the wrap is not as secure.
Brilliant - my fave baby item! – I love this swaddle and have bought several to use. Our baby likes to sleep with one arm out and suck her thumb and this is possible in this wrap. We have used them from newborn and now baby is 6 months we are still using them - although have gone up a size! good quality, snug, inexpensive and super easy to use... our baby kicks her legs with… Read more
excitement when she sees her swaddle! I only use the cotton ones. The fleece winter one is too hot and makes baby too sweaty.
Excellent – All babies are not the same and I know some babies may not like it, but it worked for us and we bought the next size up on sale. We haven't had any problems with it regarding washing or use. ours is a hand me down and it seems to be still in good shape. My baby grew out of the Woombie and we started using the SwaddleMe wrap for him, and it was… Read more
great as he is a mini-Houdini and used to escape out of wrapping blankets and then wake up when startled by a dream. but with the velcro with this one, he can't get out and sleeps for much longer periods. I've noticed with him that he doesn't sleep well without being tightly wrapped. He's only starting to get his arms out of it after having used this for 6 weeks but he keeps sleeping. we've also tried some other brands of special wraps like Snug as a Bug and he got out of that fairly easily. the velcro can be a bit loud to undo. it may be a bit pricey compared to normal wrap blankets, although similar price to other special wrap products.

Disappointed – Wonderful at first but the fabric stretched too quickly after being used only ten times. Therefore the velcro location became uselessnd our baby just wriggled out. I cannot find the contact details for Kiddopotamus to ask for a refund! Perfect for the first few times. Useless for us after that.
OK – I bought two of these and although I thought the quality was good they just didn't work for us. My first baby was happier with his arms out so he could suck his thumb, the second didn't care for these at all so it was a bit of a waste for me. I gave them away. They work better than a traditional blanket. Pretty inexpensive. The velcro caught… Read more
everything in the wash, my first baby was able to get out of his fairly easily and my second one didn't like this product at all, he was much happier in just a normal sleeping bag.
OK – We went into hospital with one swaddle me. Loved it for the first few days and so went and got a couple more. Shouldn't have wasted the money. Our baby grunted and groaned and still managed to escape, despite being tightly bound. After 2 weeks, she hated being that tightly swaddled so we switched to muslin wraps and bunny rugs instead (so we… Read more
could swaddle her with her arms up). Good product, but only for some babies.
And I rolled my eyes when I heard someone complain that the velcro was too noisy, but when you're sleep deprived your swaddling skills might not be up to scratch. I'd try to keep the velcro tabs open before starting to swaddle her, but they'd invariably fold back over and I'd have to open them again, only to wake her up. Easy to use. Warm. Good for newborns. Velcro is noisy. Too warm for summer. Too restrictive for older babies.

this product is okay there is better out there – My swaddle me has lasted with all of my kids (I have 3) but i bought a small so they were only in them for the first month:/ its too expensive to keep buying bigger sizes. I wish they would make with a different material so one size could fit all.
Great Swaddle – This is the second time around for my Kiddopotomus Swaddle. I used it 5 years ago with my first born and now with my second! Both of my girls were houdinis but with this Swaddle, they were not able to get their arms out! The bad thing about these is the Velcro doesn't stick well after a few washes. Security and efficiency Velcro tabs don't wear well
Excellent product! Love it! – The product is excellent. My daughter loves sleeping in it. (I must say she loves sleeping in general but she sleeps longer when I put her in SwaddleMe). I use it in the car, in the pram and in her cot. Pretty easy to use as well. And baby stay wrapped. Of course, baby can get unwrapped if they really try hard enough - they probably need to be… Read more · 3
changed, fed or something!
It comes in 3 sizes. I had the small one and only had it for 2 months but got the most out of it. Just less hassle with the swaddling using muslin wraps. She needs to upgrade to the next size now that she's turning 3 months. Great product - stretchy and pretty material, easy to use. Can be used in the cot, car and pram. Can be expensive? You need to buy again as baby grows. Muslin wrap - you don't.
Bad – In winter they would be good as an outer wrap but no good in summer. My boys used them from 1 to 3 months and have had problems with them getting their arms out most of the time. It got worse as they got older. Fairly easy to use. Not too expensive. I have twins and both were able to get out of these wraps where the wrap meets in the middle. They… Read more
would wake up with there arms sticking out. On occaassions they were even able to get their arms out the top. I can use them if I wrap them in a muslin underneath but that is too hot in the summer.
Terrible – Nothing. Don't buy it. There are much better wraps on the market. Boo to velcro!! I would go with any of the zip up wraps before buying this. I'm still thinking. Nope - can't think of anything. I didn't realise it was velcro when I bought it. Anyone that uses velco on a baby product needs a serious rethink. It was too short, too tight,… Read more
horrible for nappy changes, my baby hated it as did I. And yes - I did read the sizing before I got it and def got the right size.
The velcro is a nightmare for night time nappy changes. There are much, much better wraps on the market these days.
Good – Really good product aside from our few dislikes. This product really helped our baby to sleep soundly at night and we ended up using it from about 4 weeks until 6 months. We purchased a few of SwaddleMe wraps in different sizes and fabrics. The SwaddleMe comes in a variety of sizes. Velcro makes it so easy to use and keeps baby safe and secure so… Read more
that you can have peace of mind when you go to sleep at night. It's really easy to wash and not that expensive to buy. Prevents baby waking from startle movements. You can buy the SwaddleMe wraps for summer and winter and for different sizes/ages. As our baby grew she did manage to get her arms out of the SwaddleMe during the night, but this didn't seem to wake her up or cause her any distress. Hard to buy the larger size in Brisbane...we had to buy ours online inter-state.
OK – happy i bought the product and will continue to use in the car seat as i really think its great for that. but i also bought the ergo cocoon baby swaddle, and much preferred that. i always try to wrap my baby over with a blanket in the car seat, but he can always kick it off. using this wrap he stays nice and cosy and sleeps even better in the car.… Read more
contrary to other opinions on here, i actually found that once washed they lost their shape a little and didn't seem to feel as soft anymore.
but i also found that my baby did not like to be in it, which is weird cos hes never had a problem being wrapped up before, maybe it just restricted his movement a little too much...?

Good – These are great products - we have been given the summer and winter versions as gifts but our baby hated being in them and got quite upset being wrapped up so tight . He doesnt mind the normal wraps but can get himself out of them by morning time. Really compact and neat for baby. Safe and baby cant kick the wrap off. These wraps wash… Read more
beautifully.
If you are a rubbish wrapper like me they are easy work for you. Our baby was not a fan. He went mad and screamed blus murder - maybe he felt like he was in a straight jacket?
Good – My baby always manages to wriggle her arms out of the wrap, and because she suffers from eczema she scratches and rubs her face leaving large weeping areas on her face. We tried scratch mittens etc, and the appearance of her face has become quite distressing for us. This product noitonly keeps her arms wrapped and because the material ( we have… Read more
only used the cotton ones) is soft, her overall skin condition seemed improved. easy to use, nice soft flexible material more expensive comparing to ordinary wraps, I wish there were multi-pack (with some savings) on the market
OK – I used this a few times but it just didn't seem to work with our little guy. He was pretty strong from birth and he could easily get his little arms out of this wrap. Might work for a younger baby who is less wriggly. I wouldn't buy this product again but I would recommend it to a friend if they were having trouble swaddling their baby. Easy to… Read more
use. didn't really work for us,our guy could get his hands out of this. We also like to swaddle his hands up near his face and it was not possible with this wrap.
Excellent – When I first used the Swaddleme on my baby we never turned back. Both my partner and I could never seem to wrap our baby in a muslin wrap without her escaping or even worse it moving up over her face whilst she was asleep. Once we started using the swaddleme we never experienced these problems again. Our baby sleeps much better when wrapped in her… Read more
swaddlesme. When we have more children we will definately be using swaddleme's to wrap them in. Baby held nice and secure, warm, prevents baby waking from startle reflex. Can be a bit too warm in summer.
Good – These wraps were a life saver for us when our baby was young as she would escape from any other type of wrap. She did sometimes escape from the kiddopotamus but not too often. A good product, worth paying for. Probably a bit hot for summer but we didn't experience this as our bub was out of wraps by the time the weather became hot. Great for… Read more
keeping newborn babies wrapped and keeping their arms down to stop the "startle" reflex. A bit pricey but you can get them second hand at a reasonable price, and they are good quality so they're ok second hand.
Good – Works well for a newborn - ours is a real wriggler. Secure but still allows for wriggle room. The small size fits our newborn well but will probably outgrow by 2 months. Binds baby's hands down and stops the 'startle' reflex but the stretchy material still allows wriggle room. Snug for winter, don't need additional blanket. Keeps the head free to… Read more
move around. Cute pastel colours. Hole in back to check nappy without waking baby. Expensive though can get cheaper on ebay. Can be too hot even in winter - baby gets sweaty. Doesn't grow with baby so have to buy new sizes. Velcro can be noisy.
Excellent – only reason stopped using it was because he grew out of the smaller size so we then weaned him off the swaddle. our son was tall and sknny so even when he was getting too long for it and it was still fitting in width we just moved it down him a little. was soon happ with this product would recommend it to everyone best swaddle ever, never had a… Read more
prob, velcro not noisey, our son was never able to escape, good material nice and soft, kept our son warm on cold nights, easy to wash, our son loved it it was extremely comfortable for him.
OK – Overall this swaddle didn't really work for us, our daughter was able to wriggle free. It was useful in the early days when she wasn't too mobile, but we had to find something else when she was about 3 months old. Easy to use. Nice soft fabric and cute designs. Our daughter is long and skinny to out grew the smaller size in length before she was… Read more
wide enough for the next size. Because of this she was often able to get her hands out. The Velcro is noisy when you want to readjust them mid sleep and often stuck to things you didn't want it too, like delicate knitted blankets.
OK – We bought this for our newborn because his arms would miraculously make their way out of any muslin wrap. He could still get out of this one too, but with an additional layer of muslin wrap over the swaddleme he was snug as a bug. And hot! Grew out of it within 10 weeks, but was the best method we could find to keep arms from flailing around… Read more
during sleep and waking him up.
I would like to have tried other products to see if they were any better, as this one made a loud velcro rip and was thick fabric which was too hot for summer in Sydney (Mostly) prevents little houdini's arms from escaping at night Velcro makes a tremendous ripping noise, which wakes up baby and prevents any hope of stealthily changing nappy in the middle of the night. Hot for summer

Excellent – We tried so many different swaddles, however this is the only one which kept our little baby swaddled throughout the night. Would highly recommend. Fantastic! Only swaddle that worked for us.
Excellent – We tried several different wraps on my son & always found he managed to get free quickly then got one of these as a gift and found them great. My son was unable to wriggle free and they have great designs, they wash well and even have a fleece version for winter. Would not use any other brands The only wrap that kept my son wrapped
Terrible – Much like the miracle blanket which we tried first, this wrap was not effective in keeping our wriggly little houdini baby in at night and it was very frustrating trying to swaddle him in it. I bought a larger size as our baby is quite long hoping that it would hold him in better but he managed to wriggle his little hands out if it as well. We… Read more
were disappointed as this was an expensive purchase and we had heard such good things about it. I guess it works for some people but please heed this advice: if your baby is a wriggly little one, nothing will keep them in!! Easy to use Didn't work for baby and expensive
Good – A really cute option, I loved the choice of multiple designs which meant it wasn't the same old thing every day. Baby liked it and seemed comfy. Simple to clean and wash, retained its softness even through washes, the baby wasn't restricted to the point of frustration, designs are not only varied giving you some choice, but all are really… Read more
adorable, baby was really comfortable in the one we bought for her Fell apart after a couple of months, the second one we bought lasted about four months, but they don't last too long with regular washes, I found
Good – I had a bamboo and a original. I would much prefer the original, even in qld summer. The bamboo is much harder to use as it tangles it self up and the leg bit is hard to keep in place. The original (cotton) quality is long lasting and soft. Comfortable. Good quality. Easy to use and clean. Baby is not "too" stuck. Bamboo one is very flimsy.
Good – Very cute easy to use swaddle wrap. The pouch at the bottom was not see deep as in other wraps and did not fit for the age range given. Would definitely buy and use again if I had a bubba. Very cute little teddy design on the front. This was so easy to use, even for the hubby who does not usually have the time to work it out. Didn't last as long as other swaddles wraps.
Excellent – I was given this as a gift and used it straight away as the muslin wraps that I had were hopeless at keeping a wriggling baby wrapped. I then purchased 2 more swaddleMe's and have used them at every sleep for baby for the first 3 months. Extremly easy to use, hard for baby to get out of and an absolute life saver. Would highly recommend this… Read more
product. Very easy to use and clean (wash and pop in the dryer for quick use again) keeps baby tightly wrapped (when wrapped tightly and properly) and secure. Size availability - hard to find the large size. Velcro starts to wear, but I got a lot of use out of it before it happened.
Excellent – I was given this wrap as a gift, and had not heard of it prior to this. It turned out to be one of the best gifts we received! Bub only managed to stay in a normal wrap for the first couple of weeks, and then he always managed to free himself. He is just starting to outgrow the middle size wrap now, at 6.5 kgs, so I am now looking out for a large… Read more
size to buy. A great way to keep babies wrapped, especially bubs that are too big and strong for a normal wrap, and always manage to get themselves out! I wish this was available at more of the major baby stores.
Excellent – This product is indispensible. I wish I had had one for my first daughter. I cannot do without it now. I don't think my daughter would sleep without it. This product keeps your baby warm, stops them from scratching their face, pulling their dummy out and their hands from getting cold during the night. It also makes feeding easier as you don't have… Read more
their hands in the way. My daughter outgrew the small one and its now too hot for the larger microfleece one I bought so I am now going to have to buy the cotton one.
Excellent – I wish I had discovered these earlier on that I did. I struggled with swaddling my baby in traditional muslin wraps for over 1 month and then decided to spend the money to get a couple of these. The velcro helped keep baby in and the design was easy to use. Even after copious washing they still kept their shape ... but the velcro was starting… Read more
to lose its grip. great for babies that escape traditional swaddles/wraps. Well worth spending the money. velcro began to lose its grip. Wripping velcro noise not good for litte babies that still have nappy changes during the night feeds.
Good – These were great to use when bub was first born. Much easier to use than blankets - the shape of the swaddle along with the velcro meant bub would more likely stay wrapped. Being dryer safe was fantastic as every so often would go through 2 a night. Meant they could be washed and dry for the next night. Keeps baby warm. Not too expensive. Dryer… Read more
safe. Velcro means more likely to stay wrapped that just using a blanket. As bub grew he became a wriggler and wasn't so keen on being wrapped - an arm or a leg would end up out of it. Meant swapping to sleeping bags as soon as old enough.
Bad – I bought 3 of these after my girlfriends highly recommended them, and found them useless for my 1st child as he wasn't a fat chubby baby, so it didn't keep him snug at all. My second child got more use out of it, but he outgrew each size very quickly. It's convenient to use when you're out and about but not as good as a flat piece of fabric. … Read more
Unless you have a chubby baby, avoid this wrap. Keeps arms from escaping. Car seat compatible. Convenient to use as a wrap when out and about. Unless bub is chubby, like my 2nd child, a smaller or thinner bub, like my 1st is not snug. Baby outgrows very quickly, so expensive.
Excellent – Love this product. One of my friends lent me one as my baby was escaping from wraps. He has only managed to escape from this twice and i think that was because we hadn't done it up properly. Have bought another one now so i don't have to go without when one is in the wash. Great for wriggly babies My wriggly baby sleeps great in this Would be… Read more
good to have a bit more choice of pattern and also a bigger size as i'm not sure what i will do when my baby gets a little bit bigger and no longer fits
