High quality machine, wish it was still available for our daughter – Have now had it nine years,, it has never gone wrong. It sits on a 400 mm shelf. Only problem it was out of balance one day and vibrated off the shelf and crashed on its face. Picked it up, put it back on the shelf and it still works although it had cracked the dial. washing cycle stops and difficult to resume. Technician at the time stated to turn machine off, restart with Drain as its a glitch (sigh); central control is broken therefore dial does not work and washing selections need to be done via scredriver as the ribbing has been stripped and parts not available at present.

and energy is a plus. Love the 1600 spin speed great when you are using the dryer. Was a bit more expensive than we planned on paying but when we compared it to other similar featured washers (i.e. Miele & AEG) this model was around $1200 cheaper.

quite, it is very water efficient, the display is easy to understand, and it washes very well.

Compared to my other washing machine (LG WG-8016C read separate review) this one is superb.

I think a big mistake people do is overload it a lot....This will make it heavy and break the bearing...Rule of thumb you should always fill the drum with 3/4 clothes (top part should be empty and visible inside). Excellent – I have had my KFL1600 washing machine for 1 year and it is the best washer I have ever had. The last review said it broke down just outside of it's warranty period that at the time was 5 years, the average lifespan of most washings on the market and every washer I have ever owned. Now they have a ten year warranty which says something about how long they expect them to last.

Excellent – I own this machine only few weeks. I am happy with this washing machine as I can choose different programs. It has a delay washing program and water saving program. The clothes are clean and dry after spinning. It has five year warranty and I am hoping this machine will last longer. Beautiful looking. Clothes can be very dry after spinning. The exhausted hose is not compatible to my laundry setting.

Excellent – Contrary to most reviewers i have found our machine great. Our first repair man was a dud, but after i found someone who knew what they were doing it was fine. until it dies. This machine has been great and doesn't owe me anything. Sorry to hear about others bad experiences. Great water saving and brilliant spin- clothes almost dry! The mixed wash is quick and uses little water and no heating as uses cold water. Huge capacity Actually there is nothing- had a few repairs necessary early on and ironed out those problems and it has been running no-stopo practically for 5 years

Terrible – Do yourself a favour, dont buy Kleenmaid. Our first machine broke twice withi 6 months. The bearing went - screamed like a Kleenmaid customer. Terrible – justice prevails - I have had a kleenmaid crap KFL1506 for 3 years and it has had over 15 service calls with KM refusing to replace it - crap machine crap customer 'service' good riddance ! Kleenmaid give a new meaning to Customer "Service" a level of apathy and defensiveness I have never experienced before. Im actually glad to see the latest news re their trading woes - can't say I am suprised.

Terrible – Such a polished sales pitch, and then such a dodgy product and humiliating customer service department. Hard to believe they are still allowed to operate in this country. Looks Good We have had this machine 3 years and it has been fixed 4 times already, and is still broken at the moment. The customer service is absolutely disgraceful. I emplore people not to believe the sales pitch, it is all a farce.

Terrible – Do not buy a Kleenmaid product. Ask your local washing machine repair man what they repair the most. Pity we found out afterwards Kleenmaid was leading those stakes. months to address the issue and eventually gave my money back. Nightmare company. Don't believe the warranty hype. Apparently there is also a manufacturing fault where a cement block in the bottom of them may be cracked and cause it to literally fall apart like ours did.

Terrible – It was good while it worked. Think I'll stick to buying cheap machines and dumping them when they die. Worked good for 6 months. Bearing went after 6 months. answers, in mean time he gave me a replacement KFL1506 which has broken down twice, so I went out and bought a cheap machine from Aldi until my Kleenmaid is fixed. Machine is very expensive and of course now I can not utilise my 10 year warranty.

Terrible – The KFL1600 is a rebadged Gorenje, they should be more reliable than they are....Avoid..They are expensive to buy (when you could buy them), and even more expensive to repair... When it worked, it did a good job. First machine, DOA out of the box, second ran fine for 4 years then suicided...

Terrible – I have had nothing but trouble with this machine since I have purchased it only 4 months ago, it has broken down twice and they will not replace as it is a repair only warranty. Problem is that it takes forever to be repaired. So frustrating! water efficiency unreliable

Terrible – We eventually broke down and gave this machine away and bough a Fisher and Paykel. The machine works fine while it is OK but after around 18 months it suddenly began moving across the floor. We found out it had an imbalance caused by a faulty shock absorber. manufacturer and we got a temporary replacement. When ours finally turned up it worked again and then again started misbehaving. This time it refused to rinse the clothes properly. By this time the warranty period had expired so we decided to give the machine away. Even the delivery guy said that he would not buy one, based on the number of repairs he had to pick up Washes clothes fine when it works Keeps breaking down

Terrible – Don't ever buy anything Kleenmaid, the moment the warranty runs out, the machine will break down and the customer service is non existent if you aren't in warranty. It was good for the first 4 years Terrible customer service, broke down just after warranty expired, noisy, very long wash cycle.

Terrible – Mine broke down after one year, it took them 6 weeks to finally replace it with another faulty machine, which took another 1.5weeks to replace. The customer survice is disgracefull, I will never buy another Kleenmaid product again. Break down regularly, customer service very inefficient
