Thank you Kleenmaid – Thank you Kleenmaid. On the advice of our washing machine repairman, I bought a laundromat quality Kleenmaid washing machine in 1992. It has stainless steel parts, and takes a huge load if required, and is so simple. No computer complications. In that time, it has had one repair, when the underwire from my bra got caught in the workings. Now both children have grown up and left home, and I wish it would break down so I could buy something that took up less room.

Can't beat a Kleenmaid – I had this machine for 22 years - super large capacity, washed clothes exceptionally well. Finally died last year, pump broken, but had no rust, still looked good after all that time. Had only one repair to the drive belt after 15 years, no other repairs needed. Irreplaceable with any other brand. With a large family it handled huge loads, used almost daily. no lint filter, but if you didn't overload, was ok
Excellent – i want a machine that washes clothes and that will last. is a great washing machine and just keeps going strong. if you are after a basic machine that was built to last, not to have multiple functions other than wash clothes..... this is the one for you. big!has large wash cycle. almost unbreakable. easy to use. i love this machine! gentler on clothes than my last machine. has limited functions(which does not bother me at all, but might others)
i only ever used a normal cycle or a gentle one anyway.
Excellent – Fantastic machine that will last when others are rusting away. Like I said we have had this machine for 16 years and it is going strong with no servicing during that time. Need I say more. After 16 years this machine is going strong. We are a family of 4 and use it pretty much everyday.

Great machine but only available to commercial laundries in Australia. The Speed Queen equivalent for households is rubbish and not worth the $2100 price tag
