Fantastic product – We installed this oven in 2007 and have never had a problem. We still use it almost every night and it has never failed us. Mainly use for vegetables and the odd cheesecake from the cookbook. I never cooked or ate cheesecake before this recipe and everyone loves it. The steamer is wonderful - we are now searching for replacement cookware.

Healthy eating is terrific, mine has never worked properly though – I swear by the health benefits and convenience. However, as mine has never worked properly from new and a callout to Kleenmaid resulted in parts being changed but the same problem, I am not happy with it. It has proven to be a real lemon. I am really disappointed. I have had to find other ways around it to ensure the food isn't soggy. I also can't follow the standard steam recipes because of this. Love the healthy eating and the ease of setup of for cooking. The cleaning is good too. Mine has never worked properly and I suffered between the changeover when Kleenmaid went bust. The warranty service was really poor and there was never any follow up on it. I contacted the company at least 6 times. I still have an oven that doesn't work properly.

OK – Great appliance with many health benefits, however, I prefer a combination steam oven like the AEG because there are a lot more options. I found it cooked vegies and fish well with similar results to using a chinese steamer basket over a wok - just a lot more convenient Have now gone to a combi steam oven from AEG because it also browns so I can cook really succulent roasts about 30% quicker than an a normal oven with golden results.

Excellent – the steam that escapes while cooking is so it is not pressurized this means that the water is not forced into the food and the vitamins and minerals are not forced out. we have only had this appliance for about 3 month but we love it to bit it gets used 90% of the time. you can do a wide range of thing in it not just veggies. eg rice, packet mix cakes, stir fry anything that does not need to browned. instead of reheating left overs in the microwave you rehydrate left overs in the steam oven. we would highly recommend you to take kleenmaid up on their free demos. we got a good deal on one of their demo nights which i think they hold once a month. you can put everything in at once set the timer for what ever takes the longest and for get about it. if it finishes before you are ready push the stop button and it will keep the food warm up to 20 mins. does not need to be plumbed in. has no pump for the water it is gravity feed. easy to clean when you have finished with it. 10 year warranty a little bit of steam escape while cooking
