They did the job while I waited, removed the wheel, took the tyre off the rim, did the repair, balanced the wheel, put the tyre back on and took the car for a test drive making sure the inflation indicator had reset. All in all very happy with the service & when its time for new tyres, I will use their service

paid for oil AND filter, clearly didn’t change the filter. I have a video of me checking my oil. They also charged me for window wiper additive. I took a video of me filling it up, they clearly didn’t do that either. Did the mechanic choose not to do this, or did the service desk guy tell him to, l wonder. Disgraceful.

I have not gone back as I feel the quality of the service I have received is very below par, so I will no longer be using this Mycar (Baldivis) again. I have owned my car for 15 years and had alignment services done by various other tyre services and have never had an issue with steering wheel alignment. Either the equipment at the Baldivis establishment is faulty or the staff are inadequately trained.

Out, but I have to call the number specified or tell the tyre outlet when collecting vehicle. My largest concern is, they have already received permission by me to collect and share my information until days after when someone removes it. All too late. I also read through the privacy policy which dictates the information collected and how it is used and it's pretty excessive for something I'm not able to disagree with.
Now I see these policies all the time, but the shock I have that its a mandatory field I HAVE to agree with to is what disgusts me. Researching mycar shows a previous ACMA breach for anti spam and marketing already. Fine paid and no lesson learned. I won't be proceeding with this purchase, no ways I'm agreeing to this.

After calling and speaking to a manager, I was promised a call back with a quote. That was 4 years ago! Recently, I decided to give them a second chance...guess what happened? Thankfully, each time, I went with professionals ... who quoted me and had the job done within hours. Clearly customer service isn't part of their company.

gave My Toyota Camry 485 TAC for a regular service. Upon collection of My Car after the said Service, I was told by the Male at the Counter that My Car had severe Oil leakage, Brake pads would need replacement. etc. & these needed urgent attention. He promised to Email Me the Quote for the Repairs on Monday which never happened to date, though MyCar has My Email details with them according to the Counter Male when I verified this from him. According to him, these further repair tasks would require more than one call to rectify them. Also to My dismay, I had to incur Car Parking charges of $ 15 at the boom gate even though I was told I would not require any Parking ticket nor pay any parking fee to get Out, by the Counter person. I did not want to check back with MyCar due to the long que of cars behind My Car at the boom gate.
On Sunday Dec 14, '25, I received a SMS that My Car needed Wheel Alignment. I was never informed about this when I collected My Car after service the previous day. I ignored the SMS and waited for the promised Email which never arrived at all. Anyway to cut a long bad experience short, I took My Car to My regular RACQ authorised Service provider, Advanced Mechanical Service at Moorooka & had the Car serviced once again by them. To My utter surprise I received the Car without reports of any mechanical problems whatsoever. I had taken My Toyota to MyCar Mount Gravatt as Advanced Mech do not work on week-ends. By the way, to date My Car has been running smoothly as ever !!!

I received a SMS stating that My Car needed Wheel Alignment. No mention was made whatsoever about the Leak, Break Pads future work at all.

I’ve purchased a few tyres from this company and always found them courteous and efficient…and competitive prices….but was quite shocked when I replaced a tyre that was damaged by an extremely large pothole and found out it was covered by their 12 month guarantee under road hazards….so they replaced it for $zero! young man approached, so I explained that I had a booking and asked where I should park. Instead of assisting me, he spoke to me rudely and abusively, telling me I had stopped in the wrong spot and needed to park in the mycar parking area. When I asked where that was, he pointed in a direction but continued speaking to me in the same manner. I went to the parking area, where he had also gone to retrieve another customer’s car, and he continued making comments about where I had originally stopped. By that point, I had had enough. I went into the office and told them I no longer wanted to proceed with the booking and wanted a refund. When they asked why, I explained what had happened. The manager’s response was that the employee was autistic and, while they were sorry, there was nothing they could do about it. It felt like the manager was using that as an excuse rather than taking responsibility for the way I had been treated. I understand that people may have different needs or challenges, but management should have appropriate safeguards and support in place to prevent customers from being spoken to in an abusive or disrespectful way. I then asked for my money back, but was told I had to contact head office because I had booked over the phone. I tried calling the two numbers they provided several times, but each time I only reached a recorded message and was prompted to leave a voicemail. At that point, it became clear to me that getting a refund would likely be even more frustrating than the experience I had already been through. I reluctantly went ahead with the booking just to get it over with. Lesson learned. I won’t be using Mycar again. Reputable businesses take responsibility when something goes wrong, but based on this experience, Mycar’s setup makes it feel like customer service and accountability are the least of their concerns.

that I was paying via Afterpay. Well, the grunted response to this was rude and unprofessional. I attempted to pay using my wallet which I have used here before, but it would not accept it. No matter how many attempts I made it kept declining. It was frustrating beyond words and at one time I said to [Name Removed]“ keep the car”, that’s how frustrating it was. I left their reception and went to make some calls. I contacted Afterpay to query the issue, and they said there is no issue on their end and could not understand why it would not process. In fact the person I spoke to at Afterpay said it sounds like the business has not activated the Afterpay on their end. I contacted my bank, although this wasn’t a bank issue, and also no issue. I contacted my wallet and again no issue. I returned to their reception and attempted again to pay with Afterpay, again it was declined. At this time I had now been in their office for over an hour trying to sort this out, with no assistance from [Name Removed] at all. In fact he was showing signs of being fed up and annoyed, and said the problems was my end. Just after 4.30pm, [Name Removed] said that the problem was the system, Optus was down which is why the transaction could not be processed. I thought this was strange because my mobile service is with Optus and I was having no issues accessing anything on my phone. Also, a few other customers who had come in to collect their vehicles had paid via the eftpos machine, so why didn’t it work for me. As it was getting close to closing shop time, [Name Removed] said to me that it turns out Optus was the issue, the system was down. What a lot of bull if ever I heard it. I paid my bill via eftpos in reception and was more than glad to walk out of this place. The look that passed between [Name Removed] and his other young colleague said it all. Unprofessional all the way. They thought I hadn’t seen their arrogant look pass between them I felt treated like an old fool and made to feel st^pid. I took the liberty of contacting Optus when I got home and enquired about if their system was down at the my Car Tyre & Auto in Armidale. I gave the address. No, said Optus, there was no issue with the system at this place of business or anywhere in Armidale for that matter. [Name Removed] is a liar.i will never, ever take my vehicle to be serviced by these unprofessional lot again, or buy their tyres. I would rather pay double to an independent professional business than ever use this lot again.if I could give a Zero star rating I would, and I will be posting my experience with this lot on social media too.See less

Went to the next scheduled appointment two days later, 15 minutes later was informed that they couldn’t find the lug to remove my tyres so couldn’t do the job. Oh yeah. That payment I made via the link. I waited over a week to get it back. Had I not called asking where it was after 5 days, who knows how long they’d have been earning interest on it. Go anywhere else.

allowing up to $700), and the job is relatively straightforward, especially when it’s on top of the engine.
I declined the quote, purchased the alternator myself for $570, and had it replaced through Lube Mobile for $250. Total cost: $820.
That’s a significant difference for the same job. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with any work here.
From reading the negative reviews they need new managers at their outlets. Hopefully that fat guy isn't still managing Armadale WA. Disgraceful I paid for a minor service & oil change & filter of my daughters car. The fat guy claimed the brakes pads were low & needed replacing plus 2 tyres were needed. get it corrected but still not right. The car has some vibration in the steering wheel at higher speed which definitely wasn't there before either of the alignments were done. I'm coming in 2010 and saying please do pink slip. They ask what year is your car? I say 2007. They look each other and then one saying $37 will be ready 15 minutes to five. Next year calling someone else and the other place says your car is less then 5 years old you do not need pink slip. - They do spam your mail box very well, each time reminding you to leave negative feedback.

diagnose. Will tow to a My Car centre. The deflate indicator came on, would not send anyone unless I would state the tyre is flat, again do not do diagnostics. My Car uses a company called Digicall Assist. They informed me to read the policy. Do not assume that MyCar provides a road service or assistance that will be positive and decrease your anxiety. Definitely will look for other companies to service my car. As well no positive support for loyal customer.

diagnosing the issue, I was charged for another regas, had to return multiple times, and was eventually told there is a leak but they cannot fix it and that I should take the car elsewhere. I was even referred to someone who also said he could not repair BMW.
After paying and going back and forth, nothing was resolved. The main issue was not listening, poor explanation, and doing something different from what was promised.
I would not recommend this location for anything beyond very basic services like oil changes or brakes. If your issue requires proper diagnosis or clear communication, be careful — it’s extremely frustrating to follow up when things go wrong.
