Konia Water from Air Generator KA5000SU

great water can't live without it – We have this unit in our house and it make the best tasting water , even our dog will not touch tap water again . The machine was very easy to install and is very simple to maintain. the price of the units were not bad , the stand up dispenser was about $1200 and the water generator 5000 was $890 , with all the water we drink that has a 1.2 year pay back well worth it.
Excellent – Fantastic machine. Had it for 18 months now. Not one problem. Everyone is really impressed when they see it and there are loads of questions. Best is that the water maker goes outside which cuts out noise and makes sure the machine is not competeing with the aircon. Also the air outside is fresh which makes better water. Quick and easy to install - takes minutes. Total independence for drinking water. Great water taste and good looking product. feel safe that the kids are drinking good quality water. 3 weeks of the year no water is made due to humidity and temperature. at that time I fill the generator tank with water because I like the water coming out of the dispenser.
Excellent – I bought my machine when Konia first introduced this technology to the Australian market 9 years ago. Being new technology it was very, very expensive ($4000) but the Konia technician who was servicing my unit the other day said that the price has been drastically reduced. Since this time I have had a few hiccups but nothing that couldn't be solved quickly and efficiently.
I originally had the generator sitting inside an airconditioned room and water generation was below expectations. Once I removed it outside, Water generation flew off the charts and in summer is well above the companies expected production rates. I placed it out under the patio where there seems to be a good air flow.
In winter the machine does not make as much water as I would like. Still, overall, well worth the original investment and happy to recommend this product Water from Air means my family and I dont have to drink the Fluoride and treated effluent in South East Queensland's water supply The Hot water tank does not hold enough hot water (4L)
Excellent – sits in our club house. use it all the time. quite a unique idea. people talk about it and look at it. they bring their bottles and fill up all the time. we had one breakdown. there was a pump problem, which Konia fixed the next day. they did a maintenance check at the same time. the filters are good value when compared to my brothers filtration units. recommend Konia. quick installation. everyone likes it. water tastes great. no worry about the council water now you need to put the water making part outside and the dispenser inside. the company does not advise having the water maker in the building. will not make water in July.
Excellent – Peace of mind every time i drink water. The konia water system is easy to use and the family loves the taste of fresh clean water. What more can I say, its worth every cent. Fantastic clean water what more can you ask for.

Had problems from the first month with the water pump which Konia replaced, but then a few months after that in May it did not produce any water because of the weather being dry and cold. Mind you this is Brisbane so if it doesnt work here then good luck in other major cities in Australia. I paid $2000 for this machine so I would expect SOME water in dry days.
The quality (ppm) of the water is great at 1ppm or less but the fact that I had problems with it already tells me to maybe look for other avenues (maybe reverse osmosis?)
