I chose Landmark Computers because they have verifiable physical locations, are able to be communicated with by phone, their price was remarkably competitive, and they actually hold stock instead of drop shipping, like most online anonymous vendors. I also prefer to deal with and support established reputable companies.

My original enquiry was by phone, to enquire about stock holding of the product I was after, and I was greeted by a very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful staff member, who confirmed they had in stock either of the NAS boxes I was considering.

I spoke to another staff member later, and ordered online that day on Monday 21/8/17 PM. My order was dispatched the following day (22nd), with invoice and tracking details sent by email. I received the package in record time in Tasmania on Friday 25th AM.

I received a tax invoice and all the warranty details, and I'm very pleased with the price, the quality of the product, and the standard of personal service I've received from Landmark.

I will be dealing with them again when I need any other IT products for my business office.

them before -- I'm in Brisbane and they are in Melbourne) of this week to see if they had stock of the upmarket HP Elitebook 850 G3, with Intel I7-6600/8GB RAM/1 TB hard drive. (None of the local Brisbane suppliers I'd dealt with previously had this model listed on their websites.) Landmark didn't have stock, but they immediately contacted their supplier and phoned me straight back (< 5 min), assuring me that they could allocate me one of the nine that were available. So, I went through the ordering process, and, voila, two days later (Wednesday -- yesterday), my new HP Elitebook arrived, along with an HP docking station, which I decided to order as well. Landmark -- thank you! You responded promptly to my queries, helped me through a payment glitch that I had made, and kept to your word about being able to source one of these in-demand machines for me. I explained my hesitancy and some of the reviews I'd seen and he simply said "Usually only unhappy customers write a review, all the happy ones don't." Having worked in sales previously, I new there was some truth in this, so gave the benefit of the doubt and placed the order. False Advertising – Ordered the Asus Zenbook UXD550VD laptop. Landmarks website stated it was touchscreen and had windows one touch access. The laptop I received did not have these functions. Returned it but did not get a full refund. BEWARE their website still has not been changed even after I raised it 4 times with them.

What customer service? – Their service/repair department needs to learn at least something about customer service. Went back there after a long time and wish I hadn't. There is only one guy, so if he has the day off absolutely nothing gets done, so after nearly two days my computer hasn't even been looked at. Never again.

Very disappointed – I originally purchased an ASUS UX303UA which was advertised as being available and paid the money. A few days later was told it was not available even though their website still showed as having stock. for 2 months then the problems started. The WiFi button stopped appearing. Only way to get it back was to restart up to 5 times. Called Landmark only to be passed around to technical who told me to take it to a shop to get it fixed (at my expense) or call ASUS. Spoke to the warranty manager who was only interested in me calling ASUS as well. Called ASUS (Philippine call center) who guided me through the troubleshooting. After the call it was working even worse. So am now waiting for a courier to pick it up (some time to between 9am and 5pm) and am expecting OT back in 2 to 3 weeks.
