Appalling customer service - parts are discontinued – I am extremely upset to find that my 6 year old oven no longer works. I called out the LG authorised service repairman to look at it which has cost me $130 to be told that the part is no longer available and has been discontinued so I have absolutely no way of repairing my oven. I contacted LG live chat support about how grossly unfair this is - I then received a phone call advising that LG would repair the oven for me. I explained that that's very nice of LG, but I can't see how they can if the part is discontinued but I would like some other resolution as to leave me with an oven that cannot be repaired and is essentially junk now is unfair. The oven cost me $1300 and was in fact 50% off so essentially a $2600 oven at the time and has only lasted me 6 years. I am happy to pay for it to be repaired but this is literally impossible. LG has then advised me there is nothing I can do and I should just suck it up and deal with it. I suppose I have to buy a new oven entirely out of my own pocket with not even the offer of a discount on a new oven from LG. Literally NOTHING in terms of customer service or making this experience less upsetting. This seems baffling as LG yesterday were more than happy to take responsibility for repairing the oven, but now it can't be repaired won't offer me anything. Quite honestly the worst customer service I've had in years. I am now up for the $130 call out fee and the cost of a new oven with nothing but a "get stuffed" from LG
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,300.

overheat shut off – I still think this is a great oven , last week after going through a cleaning cycle my oven would not heat up everything else worked fine even the light in side .called lg oven is out of warranty but something in the oven is still covered cant remember the name of it, any way they sent someone out ,my older son was home to let serviceman in ,he pulled the oven out flipped a red switch on top of the oven and pushed it back into the cavity and it worked again . What had happened was it overheated during the cleaning cycle as it was a hot day and it did not have enough ventilation. Fantastic didn't cost me anything. In all the paperwork that come with the oven it did not mention this switch I hope this review will help someone in their time of need. Jane
cooking good- electronics/finishes not so good! – Although it cooks very well and cleans ok with the pyrolytic feature (remember you still need to clean the glass yourself!) I only had this for 2 years before it stopped working. The repair guy had to return 3 times before giving up and taking it with him to replace the entire electronics board. It's working again but the bottom lip of the door is showing signs of rust - I do live near the sea but hey...it's only been 2 years. To be fair it may have been an electrical surge that outed the power board as we get lots of bad storms here, but still it should have more surge protection. great cooking results.....even pizza. rust after 2 years.
Excellent – Extremely happy with this product. Not cheap but worth it. The cleaning is simple and cooking result very very good. very easy to use, cooks evenly, cleans well.
Great cooking experiance – Love it have used it for 6 months now still working out the different programs love the rapid heat up clean up is easier still have to clear the racks but!! The burning smell is a bit annoying when its cleaning love the animation more different ones would be good Happy with our choice Easy to use less cleaning The smell when it is self cleaning
