simply opened the vege bin drawer and part of it snapped off.

A+ for look but if you are a details person such as me, don't go for this fridge the constant snapping to pieces will drive you mental

Dimensions and capacity – We have owned this unit for at least six months and it works perfectly. The problem we have is that the dimensions quoted are incorrect in most places. specified of 581L is that of the gross capacity not the storage capacity, the storage capacity is actually 528L.

We are now going to sell this and buy one that is actually the size it says.

floors are now gouged from pulling the fridge in and out each time it is replaced. This was my first experience of LG products after being a Fisher Paykel, Delonghi, Bosch or Westinghouse for our other appliances. I would never, ever purchase an LG product again. Bad warranty service, fridge and freezer stopped working after only 5 months.

Best fridge ever used – LG gave satisfaction again in white goods, this fridge is fantastic, stylish, stainless steel, quiet and keep foods fresh. Nothing else can ask for. Poor quality and poor service from LG – Bought a side by side fridge freezer from Harvey Norman no problems with service from them and a great price $999 for a 581l fridge freezer side by side. service who sent someone out 3 days later, did a few checks and changed a part but again within a few days temperature in the freezer was varying up to 12c same for the fridge, another few days passed and a technician came out to further inspect but could not find anything wrong, by this time I gave up using the freezer. I logged another service call and a technician came out to check freezer was warm but could not find the problem, after 5 weeks and 15 phone calls I eventually received a replacement GC197WFF which was a newer model, also had a door temp gauge and child lock etc, this was unpacked and found the fridge door seal to be loose which meant the door alarm kept chiming! Eventually a few days later the door seal was replaced and all seems good now, a little noisy motor but operates ok Price, looks, inside layout Poor LG customer service, poor quality check, poor product quality

Small family Sized Fridge – Perfect sized fridge for our family of 4.i have 2 children under 4 and i love the fact it has a lock so they cant change the temperature. Reliable,energy efficient,family friendly Really dislike the ice trays though as the ice seems to get stuck and wont tip out

saving feature. The cooling system spreads the air evenly and precisely throughout the fridge as to avoid uneven cooling and warm spots. The crispers airflow can be adjusted to allow the desired amount of air in. Absolutely love the look, white with silver door handles and LED panel. Perfect size for an average family, LCD screen has power saving mode and child lock, it's not too bulky compared to many others on the market and twist ice maker,. The biggest downfall for me is, ontop of the refrigerator there is a raised section that actually prevents you storing items on top of the fridge which I have done with my previous fridge. I love having the twist ice maker container, the only problem is because it's loose and you can move it around it takes up a very valuable shelf where if it had the ability to slide in under a shelf, you could utilise that much needed space without compremising a shelf. The egg bucket doesn't keep the eggs securely still so when you open the fridge door the eggs bounce around a little in the slots of the bucket.

Good – Size and internal capacity make for an impressive addition to any kitchen. Mine has the LCD in the freezer door and this gives an indication as to what the internal temperatures should be. like the Ice tray in the freezer, that's about all I can fault it with. Size overall indicates largish interior. Good sized intyernal storage. Don't like the ice trays. A bag of ice tipped into the ice shelf suffices. Was too big to get through the door. Had to remove glass door panels to get iknside, but worth the effort.
