This fridge RUSTED working 4 years!!! – The door around the ice and fridge dispenser has bubbled and rusted - do not buy a LG refrigerator . Customer service reply is a dismissal as it’s out of warranty. I certainly do not expect a fridge to rust away in 4 years . Dreadful product and service. The worst thing i have ever ever had rusting and as far as lg go the worst people to deal with call – It is rusting on front door and call center is a big joke mager problem getting any thing out of them had to ring head office then harvey norman to get them to ring back warranty not worth the paper its written on very very very un happy never again not even if it was for free

Worst appliance ever!! – We owned the previous version of this LG fridge and it was the worst appliance my wife and I have owned in our 35 years of marriage. Just replaced it after only 7 years of service. In that time the ice maker worked well for about 2 years. We replaced it 3 years ago and the replacement does not work today. Electrical malfunctions that cause flickering or no lights, or cause the ice maker to spontaneously make loud noises and spew what little ice is available. Replaced the original compressor when it was only 3 years old and shortly after that had to replace the "starter" switch. Now the interior lights won't come on, the water dispenser won't work and the compressor has decided to stop working. I'm done with this piece of crap - just went out last weekend and spent $2500 on a new fridge. Will never buy an LG product again!!!

Do you love dirty finger marks? – If you do then this is the fridge for you! The stainless finish will need to be wiped after anyone puts their hand on it but if you can stick to the handle you might be ok. it didnt show damage at all.The french doors are good but you can fit suprisingly few tall items in.The water dispensed from the fridge is not very cold. You will get colder water from the tap in Melbourne for at least half the year. I would not purchase this fridge if I had my time again. It keeps food cold Water and ice dispenser get damaged with regular use.

I love it! – I searched for ages for a french door refrigerator/freezer. after looking at heaps in store, ones with ice dispensers in the fridge door, we opted for this one, with the ice maker in the freezer, yet still having the water at the front (it's plumbed in). (i have 3 kids and they're always in there!) it is loud and disconcerting when it makes the ice - but once you know what the noise is (only when it's being "dropped" into the container in the freezer and refilling), it's fine.

i am impressed with it overall and would recommend to anyone. The french-door factor! the ice maker is in the freezer, freeing up inside door space. the amount of ice it creates in a short period. If anything i'd say you need to make sure the fridge is adjusted to the exact right angle otherwise freezer door and drawers slide back in on their own.

Don't bother – Bought this fridge for nearly $3000 for our new house. Had it for exactly 2 months to the day when it broke down! Thr internal Gas had shutdown and no longer produced cold. had to have it replaced which took 2 weeks. Not too bad for LG's 'rolls royce' of fridges. Hate to see their lower range fridges. Cold water tap Lasted 2 months
