drawers have broken in the freezer as well. it is like they shrunk from the cold and didn't fit on the runners, we had to pack them out. Drawer fronts broke off too.

Water dispenser is good feature but it was leaking slowly for a while and we had to pull it apart and replace something . Ice can be noisy.

I'm sorry we paid so much for it, very poor quality considering. 6 years and I'm buying a new fridge and I wouldn't buy another LG because I'd be worried about the drawer quality.

Terrible - there's no quality control with this Product – The LG GR-P257STS would have to be the worst fridge ever. I very disappointed that there's no quality control of products any more. man was terrific after calling out several times he placed an order for extra parts as he explained that they would not last. He was right. My refrigerator is now 5 years old and I don’t have one draw left without duct tape trying to hold it together. I don’t think I have any of the drawer runners left either they have completely broken off. I do have a container full of brittle plastic bits that have all broken off from this fridge. I feel that there is no quality control anymore product are sent out and if there are problems the company then decides to fix the problem rather than guarantying that they have a quality product.

Legal Ice Maker :) kids can't get enough – Great fridge, ice maker a bit noisy and end up with a bit of ice on the floor sometimes. A price I'm willing to pay for such a great fridge that the kiss can't drink enough water out of. Good value for money and no plumbing. Crushes ice option with a bit of topping makes a refreshing cool snack. Ice maker and looks. Spills a bit of ice and a bit noisy.

Very good frig with a few issues – The frig itself is fantastic, the icemaker and water filter works perfectly, the problem I have is around the water/icemaker is starting to rust and when we rang up , they said it wasnt covered under the warranty , we always buy 5 year warranties on anything electrical and have yet to be able to use it . This is the most frustrating fridge I have ever owned – Our fridge is less than 3 years old and we have replaced the crisper drawer and meat drawer and the runners for all these drawers which had all broken off. Now the icemaker has stopped making ice. We have also replaced the shelf for the milk in the door which is poorly made working on sort of a counter-lever system. but is a bad design and is cheaply made. LG replaced the drawer runners under warranty but refused to replace the drawers as they said we must have overloaded them. Funny... I have a 14 year old whirlpool side by side fridge whose shelves and runners and crisper and meat drawer are all still in tact and are working fine!! Bad design and Cheaply made. I will never buy an LG appliance again. The doors arent even level. Motor and mechanics work fine Cheaply made flimsy parts and poor warranty service.

Good – Not a bad fridge in regard to design and maintains a constant temperature (i keep a fridge thermometer in the fridge to keep tabs on this). months we have had the ice-maker mechanism replaced 6 times (so we are on no.7) - dont know what happened to LG's promise of "if the same part breaks 3 times we will replace the entire item" - nobody has ever suggested this will happen, they just keep replacing the part. Bottom crisper drawer is badly (cheaply) made and the little lugs that slide on to the runner break off easily - once both are gone, the drawer will slide out onto your feet when you open the door.
