DVD player fail – Purchased this product approx 9 months ago, very please with the quality of sound for movies and music. The DVD player however decided to start making sounds like it was actually chewing on the disks. Thank goodness that I took out "product care" when purchasing and now have a brand new system, different model but has all same featyres plus some. will review it at a later date. Great sound and easy to work out how to use. DVD player failing.
Good sound quality, 3D, Blu-ray, FM, iPOD and cable internet – Its a good unit, just finished assembling it yesterday night, tried out all features, I am happy to have bought this unit. I tried a few others, but this one struck me. You need a optical cable to received input from TV, $40, check if your TV has an optical port. It is still digital audit output. HDMI port to send output to TV (no return channel HDMI) 1. Good sound quality, surround sound, bass 2. Decent price I bought it for $580 as on Sep 2011 3. Includes 3D, Blu-ray, FM, iPOD connectivity No WiFi internet, won't work with LG WiFi dongle, so you may have to find a WiFi to Ethernet bridge, could be $100 to avoid wiring problem. I am trying to use my old WLAN internet modem to see if I can use that as Ethernet bridge.
I am disappointed with this unit and I am sorry I chose it. I was sold the unit with LG 3D TV on the prepice that I could use a single remote - but you still need both. There is a 1 second drop out in audio when going from ads to programs. There is also an audio delay when using with the TV. Yes the software comes with a audio sync adjuster but this only goes in one time direction - I can only make the delay worse not better! Oh and the first time I tried to do an online software update (in the hope it would address these issues)it crashed the system and it had to go back to LG for repair. How disappointing. (Love the LG 55inch 3DTV though!)
Have received this unit as a Christmas present from my wife and kids. I wasn't an lg fan before but I have to say this thing rocks. Good sound and very good features, similar menu to pioneer that my son has. Star wars on bluray is pretty neat.
Awesome Sound – Bought this sound system with LG 3D TV. Easy to set up and sounds awesome. RRR $799. Got for $569.00. 1100 watts of awesome sound with an iPhone dock. Looks great. Wireless rear speakers. Only drawback has been synching of sound to picture. When synched to Blu-Ray becomes out of synch with FTA TV. Not sure how to fix. Sound quality, looks. Sound synch with TV

I am about to purchase this with as a package with a tv , the tv is 3d capable i think ? can i watch 3d movies on this tv? and am i able to watch 3d movies on a tv that's not in 3d?
