Don`t waste your time or money – Puchased this unit last year only worked for one month LG after sales service has been terrible unit finally returned after five months of repeated phone calls to find unit now covered in scratches after refusing to take it back in that condition we where assured it would have the damaged panels or whole unit replaced only to be given it back one month later in the same damaged condition again we have refused to take it back .Still without the unit !

Poor warranty sevice. poor durability

Humidity kills performance – We use in florida, cools good for our 17x13 foot bedroom with 14 foot ceiling, if room is 82 degrees when we turn on unit, the room temp goes down to about 72 by morning. But if it is humid, unit fills and turns off every 3 hours, so forget it!! Non humid nights we were happy, but summer tropical humidity is hitting and we need to sleep! When the loud unit kicks off you'll awaken from the silence and heat!! Ugh what a disappointment! Cools very well our 13x17 foot bedroom with extremely high ceilings AC shuts off when fills with water which is every 3 hours in florida humidity. Very loud but was willing to overlook that for the cooling feature
