OMG! Save your money! – After two awesome Sharps decided to go cheap - you get what you pay for. Turntable jerks about, squeaks and sometimes stops altogether. Element stops heating once pre-heat is reached and food is in. Need to cook on pre-heat and do self timing! Just out of warranty too!

Purchased for $499.

Perfect – Great product does almost everything a growing full house hold needs.. one unit does everything from grill to oven to microwave to oven.. very easy to use and keep clean.. would definitely invest in another one if we need one.. LG makes life easier with their customer service and Warranty.

2 in three months - same fail with both – Great oven, while it lasts. In three months both control panels have failed; suddenly out of 14 buttons and two dials the only one that turns anything on is the crispy reheat (which basically 'nukes' food in under 2 mins) and the lean roast button to stop/clear. Needless to say, this one's going back too. Would like to replace it, but will I be carting it to the service centre AGAIN when the third one goes?

Same design problem too; the top rack pushes the bottom one off the tray while you're trying to position it, and is TOO close to the top element for successful dual-layer cooking.

sais made in Korea but no difference to made in China – After a great Japanese Appliance we wore out 2 Chinese made ones which were both crap. Since we are happy with our LG washer we bought the large version for big money. Yes it works, lots of knobs and buttons who double up but no time savings at all. Makes the same sort of noise. Really no jaw dropper.

Great product, works like a charm – I bought this oven on special for $499, and it's a great buy! I haven't had it very long, so I haven't yet used every one of its functions, but so far everything I've asked it to do, it's done beautifully. It's my only oven, so it gets a workout every day, as a microwave, a convection oven and both at once. It's easy to use, with just a bit of a learning curve, and easy to clean.

Its cavity is quite large, with room to cook on two levels at once, but apparently it's not designed to do that, although it does come with both a high and a low rack. If only the high rack was a little bit wider than the low one, cooking on two levels would be easy, but both racks are the same width, which makes it tricky. I've got around that little problem by using other racks, trays etc I already had, and have had great success. Food on the top level cooks faster than the food below it, but that doesn't worry me - it's just a matter of keeping an eye on it.

It has several automatic settings, of which I've used two so far, and both worked great - things get cooked much faster than in an ordinary oven, and are nicely crisp and brown.

It comes with a 2 year warranty, unlike all the other brands. It's not the best looking convection oven around (reminds me of an old TV set) but mine is stainless steel all the way around - no black on it, so it looks better than the one in the picture.

I'd recommend it to anybody. It does what it says it will do; easy to use; runs quietly Nothing serious - I just wish it had been designed with two-level cooking in mind

Where did you get it at that price?

Radio Rentals had it on special, and maybe they still do, I don't know.
