Good – I had mine for over 2 years and it has been reliable. All in all this machine is great. I have had great results with mine and in fact owned two identical units as I do like to whip through my laundry. Lots of features, time delay, time save, with spin and water temperature adjustments, extra rinses and holds etc... It has an excellent spin, I used 1000 rpm on almost everything and clothes come out in great shape. The occasional tangle is a common complaint with front loaders and therefore I would recommend what I do and wash clothes buttoned up, inside out with sleaves left on the inside and this should stop your tangles if as pedantic as me. I dry my clothes which need to be ironed on hangers and there they stay until pressed and the minimal wrinkle result is most enviable and save loads of time ironing and making it a breeze. The cotton and cotton eco cycles are long and hence I would not use often, however during/after illness a formidable cycle to ensure all nasties have gone away. I recommend synthetic cycle for cottons with time save giving cycle length of 75 minutes. Handwash and Delicate can be customised between 41 - 53 minutes, and fare better and faster than top loaders, which I stand by considering I have also in my possession a new top loader temporarily which I have tested. Front loaders are the way to go and this was my second brand. I am really fussy with my laundry and therefore if these factors do not meet your needs than I would suggest investing big bucks into a Miele, Bosch or Asko. Also importantly from experience I do stress to clean your machines, where do you think all dirt and residue goes, that has not gone down the drain? May I suggest running a long hot cycle (clothes free) with a 1 and a half scoops of washing powder or washing soda and put say about 2 cups of white vinegar in your softener compartment. Do also wipe out your gasket seal and leave the door open for a while after completing your cycle. Most machines will run a dream if you care for them. I have always wanted a top end Miele and since it is about to be delivered look forward with great anticipation to test it out and hence review. Washes Well. Spin speed of 1000 rpm produces great results with minimal wrinkles and quick drying time. Quick 30 min wash is great. Majority of cycles between 34 - 80 minutes. Cannot stop to add stray items. Cotton cycle way too long for regular use.
OK – Its good as a washing machine but as a washer/dryer it defeats the purpose when the dryer is only useful for some things. If I was looking at washer / dryers this brand is not the one for you. But it has been reliable for a good 4 yrs now. I have had this machine for 4yrs now with no real problems it's reliable always delivers clean clothes The dryer is only useful on the "Cupboard Cycle" and only really for towels. For clothes in other modes I have found them wrinkled beyond any help of an iron. They really didn't trial this dryer for clothing that's for sure. It suits me because the dryer was only ever used for towels and emergencies but I still wouldn't use it for clothes. So as a Clothes dryer it is useless!!!
The Lint gets stuck inside the rubber of the barrel and never falls down to the basket that you are ment to clean I am often found with tweezers pulling lint out of tiny places. They dont seem to have any solution for it and to get one on the net I need to pay for an answer, How ridiculous! If anyone has a soulution for this problem please let me know.
Terrible – Buy something else. This is a waste of money. I waited an hour and a half to dry something so I could wear it right away, and after all that time, it was still wet. I'll be going to the laundromat to do my drying from now on. Looks nice. Front loader. Electronic controls. The dryer is worthless. They clearly didn't do any market research on this one, because if they had, they'd have discovered that the vast majority of people who buy a dryer EXPECT IT TO DRY THINGS! I'm told that this dryer actually pumps water into the drum while drying. Does that make any sense at all? Simple answer: No.
Terrible – on first wash, drain pump was noisy. Got machine replaced. Within 12 months, drum posistion sensor had gone and there was a grinding noise coming from the rear. Had rotor and stator replaced. Then electrical board carked it. Got it replaced. Now...2 months out of warranty, the rotor and stator have carked it again. Am getting parts sent (my cost) hopefully this will fix it. If not, in the tip!! Washer and dryer in one is room saver not reliable
