Not That Bad – We are having a problem now with the machine stuck in draining mode and not moving to spin and the panel buttons have been iffy for a while. But the machine has done many washes a week for just short of 11 years so some of the other reviews seem rather harsh.

added simultaniously so then suds pour out of it everywhere, it adds the fabrick softener with the wash powder so then it sets and stains clothing permenantly. extremely noisy on spin cycle, sounds like 747, vibrates and knocks on spin cycle also, trips RCD (residual Current Device) due to water leaking on motor. It has had new shock absobers, circuit board replced twice, new detergent dipenser, new valves and solenoinds, new motor and still has same problems. you have to be at home during every wash to add detergent at the appropriate time, fabric softner and make sure it does notb shut off power supply so that wash cycle actually completes. LG are still trying to repair only, however i sent technitions back to claim for new machine otherwise i threatened to sue them all. still waiting on verdict.

Terrible – Worst machine I have ever had and would never buy LG products again.Clothes smell like they have been washed in a swamp and my 18 YO son has to spray his with deoderant before he can wear them. what the freakin hell is that?? I thought it must have been my detergent and have used every brand available with no difference. I am getting rid of this heap of junk and would never purchase an LG product again ever. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Excellent – fixed the cord and made up some hoses for it as it had none with it. Did 2 washes with it , no probs . Dunno what everyones going on about , spins better than my old one , washes better , i didnt notice a lot of noise cause its out in the shed . if it sh..s itself then i'll take it down the scrappers and get ten bucks for it , win win for me !… Read more

Very cheap , actually found it on the side of the road ! owner said it leaked a bit then his dog chewed the power cord off so he chucked it . leaks a bit outa the soap dispencer.

Terrible – this was my first front loader. i loved that it used so much less water than the top loaders, only most of this water ended up on my floor. same as everyone else says, it is so noisy it isn't funny. i had never bought an lg product before and i never will again. it is a piece of crap. very cheap leaks from the dispenser draw and fabric softener is dispensed during the wash cycle.

Good – we've had a great experience with this machine. 5yrs and not a single problem. it seems pretty smart becuase when the spin it slightly out of balance it corrects itself to get a pretty well balanced spin even at high revs. timer setting to have wash finish at a time you want. well balanced. multiple wash settings including a 30min wash if you're… Read more

in a hurry or heavy wash for really dirty stuff. large capacity. like everyone else said it's pretty noisy on the water filling and the spin cycle.

expensive machine either.(i wish i had read the reviews earlier on ...) worked great for 3 years, did a good job. yes very noisey as everyone is saying, especially spin cycle! i thought that was normal at first, as its my first washer.

Terrible – I bought this machine 3 years ago from The Good Guys in Perth, WA, and it broke down recently. Luckily, I bought a Five Year Extended Warranty, so that it was repaired at no cost. The Good Guys) and Metropolitan Appliance Services. I would personally not recommend any of you to buy this machine or any other LG since my family and I had so many problems with LG products. Easy to use and washes reasonably clothes. Very noisy like you would never believe.

floor and my house is only 4y/o. Clothes never smell clean the amount of error codes are enough to drive you insane. I can only wash2 towels at a time or it gets an error code or leak water. And the noise.... Oh My God..... Need I say more...

Bad – It has served us well but with the elecrical problem and the pump going it looks like it may well cost us over $500 to repair it, this the like half the cost of a new one and from the other reviews I am not sure that I am interested in this. suprised that it is posible.) Don't think I would recommend this machine to anyone. Washes very well and is good on water Had the machine looked at just recently for a shorting problem and was told by the technician that the Pump was on the way out, machine only three years old.

Terrible – pain in the back side for a new machine they should supply a weather proof copy of manual and a pocket on side of washer to keep it in ,my old one went 12yrs no problems does do a clean wash that is if you keep your hand book handy for all the different codes that pop up and do not finsh the wash,as is present problem moved, cant find hand book… Read more

Bad – I never found this machine noisy, just unreliable. 3 front loaders in 9 years seems to say something about quality control. Seems to wash well and not use much water. Motor dies just after warrenty expired, now the drain pump has failed.

Terrible – It produces quite good washing results, however we cannot get past the noise factor with this machine, particularly when on the spin cycle. Not a machine that i could recommend to anyone at present. I will be interested as to what LG does about it. be only that it was not acceptable and they would obtain information from LG on the problem. Produces reasonable washing results. It sounds like a 747 Jet is taking off in the laundry when it is on the spin cycle.
