Reliable, silent, many options A great machine, that is also ver water efficient – There are numerous programs to select what you may want to dodepending on the type of cloths , it has anti allergy cycle, this cycle works, no itchs. If i listed a down side it would be how long some cyles can take, standard wash 3hrs, anti allergy 4 hours, but there are a host of much shorter as low as well 30 minutes for a full light wash  Show reply

Dry patches on the clothes in wash cycle – Hi. We bought a "factory second". It arrived with transit bolts & the caps for plugging the transit bolts missing. The hoses were also dirty, AKA used. It is a 10 kg. front loader, WD14060D6. The water rate on the water rate tag indicates 86 litres when the Cotton Eco cycle is used. washing. I noticed that there were dry patches on the clothes. It did not take any extra water to wet the clothes. The total water use was 17 litres. I tried again with towels & bed sheets. It used 27 liters. Following day, I decided to try the Cotton Eco cycle with the same clothes (dry). It used 27 litres. Again, there were dry patches. At the end of the cycle, I ran the "Cotton Eco" cycle with out taking the washing out. The machine detected full load & 105 litres. I think that there is fault with the machine. Has anybody had this experience?

I have called the Customer Care center & I am no wiser.

The retailer came & tried it without clothes & their conclusion was that it is working properly. They did not try the "Cotton" nor the "Cotton Eco" cycle.

I would appreciate anyone's comment.

Excellent machine – We've had our 10kg front loader for about 12 years now. Family of four with a son that plays rugby, so plenty of times washing team jerseys. Had our first issue just today where cycle won't spin, used 250 ml of vinegar on hot wash cycle for 10 - 15 minutes, cleaned sludge out of machine and now running like new again. Washer exceedes expectations!! – I purchased my LG WD14060D6 10 kg washing machine at Christmas time. I have been using it now for 3 months and am more than happy with it. properly, but this washes them so they actually come out clean :) I do use the 10 KG capacity and the 1400 RPM is great for towels. Washes fantasticly. Not quite used to not being able to add clothes after washer starts, but the positive's do outweigh that one thing :)

Love this washing machine – I did extensive research when needing a new washing machine and narrowed it down to this one and a Miele. The huge size is a bonus on bed sheet washing day for a family of four. I mainly wash on cold and still finds it does an amazing job. It is very quiet and plays a cute jingle when your load has finished. The timer countdown is extremely handy as you know exactly how long till you have to hand your washing out.

Heaps of cycles to choose from but to be honest I mainly just use 'cotton' or 'Intensive 60' if in a rush.

My husband has so far managed to leave in his pockets - coins, pens, beer bottle tops and and even a closed pocket knife and none have damaged the machine. They just collect in the front rubber ring.

Only complaint is I am not able to put any sort of child lock on to stop kids playing with machine buttons when not in use! I worry they could climb in and start the machine! You can only lock the buttons when it is in operation. Large size, it looks fantastic, very quiet, timer countdown handy Wish there was a child lock when machine not in use to stop my kids pressing the buttons (to make a nice tune)

very quiet compared to old washer. Ease to use, warranty, energy and water efficiency, size. Getting used to not being able to add items after cycle starts (coming from a top loader)

Excellent unit – Great unit, insanely quite which is great as its next to my lads room. Easy to use. Never had any issues with lg goods as my house is full lg. took out the 5 year replacement warranty and got a great price from Harvey Norman. Better than anywhere else including the net. Don't bother, buy a decent brand – Had my brand new LG 10kg front loader delivered on Monday. Couldn't get it to work, when turned on all the cycle lights lit up and all stayed on when the selector dial was turned. Rang LG and was advised it had a major fault. Very disappointed as I did lots of research before buying this machine. size, overall look of machine, ease of use. 2 faulty machines in 3 days isn't good enough along with the 'don't care' attitude.

noise is low and the controls are easy to use. It has washed a full range of materials, from work clothes to delicates with no complaints at all.

Excellent – Love this weasher-our first front loader and it does a great job on all washing-we have three kids and live were there is alot of red dirt.
