Great machine 10 yrs young – 10 years old and still going strong. Use around 8 loads a week. Mostly intensive 60 Notice a bit of gunt behind the seal a little while ago. We been running the clean tub cycle now for around 4 weeks and it is starting to clean it away. Best washer we ever had. Steam cycle for bedding.

This is the best – what a great product! I was a bit sceptical about the seemingly high prices but it is worth every cent. Its more like a commercial machine and it gets a beating from my family. I would thoroughly recommend it to large families. However, try not to use the dryer too much ( quite tempting) as whilst its quiet efficient your power bills will go up a bit quality, reliability, features, size not much

Two years on and still going strong – I have owned this machine for two years now and it has been faultless. It has excellent build quality and looks good. I have not used all the cycles or the features it has, as i have always achieved excellent results from the Intensive 60 cycle. Clothes are completely clean in 60 minutes. I have a family of four and this machine has always been up… Read more

What a beast! – Best washer we have ever had, We previously has a 7.5kg washer that used more electricity and didn't wash as well! Highly recommend it to anyone, It is not cheap but it's absolutely worth it in my opinion . Great for larger families as well - cut your washing loads in 1/2! Size, wash quality Pricey

Excellent machine - highly recommended, – We have had our machine for about 4 months now, and I'm very happy with it. Although a little more expensive than others, it's definitely worth it for the large capacity. It's very reliable, quiet, and it has a huge range of wash options. The steam function is very useful for those very smelly clothes and pet bedding, Also, the refresh option… Read more ·  1

is fantastic for clothes that are difficult to iron such as multi panelled skirts. I waited a few months to give my review, and I highly recommend this machine. I would recommend anyone looking for a front loader to look no further, but do shop around to get the best deal. Large capacity, steam function, quiet, large range of load options. Lint drainer gets blocked easily. If you open the door straight after a load, a small amount of water pours out the front.

8 Weeks Old and Stopped Working! – We liked the previous review so rushed out and purchased one for ourselves. The machine was supposed to take about 1 1/2 weeks to arrive which ended up being something like 8 weeks. Once we had our machine we loved it. Even preferred it over our muched loved F&P toploader. Then... it stopped spinning and washing, just wet the clothes. No… Read more

error message was ever seen even though it is supposed to give one. The machine stopped working on a Friday evening, we phoned the help line and were advised to switch it off for five minutes and try a wash cycle again which was unsuccessful. On ringing straight back, the call centre was closed. A call was then placed to them Saturday morning. LG then passes a service request over to 'another' department who take up to 48 business hours to call you to make 'a time' to send a service person. Tuesday someone finally rings to advise that there will be someone to repair it on Thursday. Repair person arrives and it is the main stayer board that is faulty and he will need to order one in. The following week when the machine is still not repaired we request a replacement machine which they agree to but no one from the 'Replacement' department will call and we can only gain access to their answer machines! Still Waiting! The clothes felt 'soft' once washed. The size of the 10kg bowl was great. Expensive, took forever to be delivered and it only worked for 8 weeks. Unacceptable service from manufacturer.

Absolutely the best washer I've ever owned – After some haggling I managed to buy this for the fantastic price of $1515 from Clive Anthony's in Castle Hill, delivery was another $45. I can't believe the difference a washer makes to washing clothes. Using the same detergent (the pink Drive powder "ylang ylang" with an extra tablespoon of Borax to boost it) and fabric softener (vinegar) as… Read more ·  2

always i put my first wash through this. The LG removed dye stains in my clothes (from a chair with non-color-fast dye) that i thought were permanent, and the clothes came out spotless!

I use the allergy wash cycle (hot wash, steam cycles, and a warm final rinse), with the optional 2 extra rinses. This means 6 rinses! I saved it as my favorite so in future i just press the one button and it's away.

My family suffer severe allergies/chemical sensitivities and this washer FINALLY fixed them, no more runny noses or sore eyes when touching clothing after it comes out of the washer! The steam and 6 rinses (yes 6 rinses) get every last trace of those nasty dust mites, pet dander, pollens and toxic laundry detergents out of the clothes.

I use vinegar as a fabric softener in the final rinse because not only is fabric softener one of the most toxic chemicals in the home to people, it also builds up "gunk" in the washing machine as it sticks to everything. Just don't use it! Vinegar or citric acid work best.

It takes just over 3 hours to do this cycle, but if you are not an allergy sufferer there are quick 30 minute and intensive 60 minute cycles too. The time doesn't bother me because i throw them in when i get home from work and set the time delay option so the washer runs overnight, the washer is so quiet i don't hear anything!

For my business shirts i throw a few in at a time and choose "refresh" (ie steam only) cycle, and they are blasted with steam for 20 minutes then come out perfectly crease free! Which means no ironing!

I love this machine! Superb washing and stain removal ability. Quiet. The steam cycle. The Allergy Cycle. 6 rinses! The warm rinse. Expensive, RRP is $2100, but shop around! No option to change water level (it's automatic, but i would like the option to increase it further). The fabric softener dispenser has an extremely small opening which is difficult to pour liquid into. No option to add pre-wash on certain cycles.
