Underwhelming – Underwhelming. I emailed a year or so ago about their tea bags breaking. They agreed, and said it was due to their 'new enivormental strategy of using staples instead, to save "the environment '. Let's be honest, it's only about profits. Cool, the CEO probs has made a decent amount already. All I'm after is non breaking, non flavourless tea... Lipton is now the one to avoid Show details

Bottle tops – I've been drinking Lipton Green Tea for many years and enjoy the taste very much. But you recently changed the tops on the 16.9 oz. bottles and they are so tight that it sometimes takes pliers to open the bottle. I am a very fit adult male and don't want to change to something else but am considering it. Show details

Nothing has improved barely any taste ! – All the tea bags have less in them these days...need 3 bags to get a little flavor! Show details

Not the Green Tea I get from Asia – If you're after something else instead of water, then this would do. But don't expect to have the right green tea taste and flavour. Definitely far from the green tea flavour that I'm accustomed to. Show details

Green Tea – The green tea is ok for everyday drinking, but the tea bag is terrible quality. I have to throw every second one away as the string breaks or the bag opens up and the leaves fall out Its a shame the quality just isn't there

meh – This tea is alright. Just plain green tea. I don't like how the box is so flimsy so i wish it has slightly better packaging

A poor excuse for green tea – Label says it is green tea with vanilla (small letters). Ingredients say 65% green tea plus flavouring/essence. Interested to know what the other 35% consists of . Taste is overwhelmingly vanilla. I agree with posters about excessive packaging. Liptons did not allow 'the computer' to complete the on-line request form via the contact. About the worst so-called green tea I have tried in Australia. I donated the balance to local homeless shelter.

Worst tea – I thought Lipton a great tea manufacturer would make a good green tea. But I tasted a sample tea bag. It is worst and hopeless to taste .

No longer what it used to be – Is it just me who noticed that its flavour and aroma is not what it used to be? And the tea bags are no longer as tough as it used to be. The string would fall off from the handle and the bags seem to contain fewer leaves. But nothing beats its price because its cheaper than other similar brands but I hope the manufacturer doesn't scrimp on the tea leaves as before it has been my favourite tea brand whether hot or cold.

Not Happy – I have been drinking the Jasmin Tea for years, and now find that the quantity in the boxes has been reduced by TEN tea bags, but the price has not been reduced. TEN bags - REALLY?

String and tea bag keep on coming off – String and bags keeps coming off, all the time, I get frustrated coz I have to retrieved the bag always! Please explain...are you trying to save money using cheap process? I've been a loyal Lipton drinker of your tea , hot tea or iced tea! I love it...would appreciate your reply! Thanks

Awesome organic green tea – I bought this organic green tea (called Longjing) from a new online retailer I found last week. I was really surprised by the speed and quality because their prices were well below those you find at T2 and other tea retailers. When I opened the loose leaf tea, I immediately smelt the fresh loose leaf and it was intoxicating. My first infusion was… Read more

when I realized that I NEED to be drinking quality tea. I have my green tea hot and straight and this particular one was just perfect, not to dry and savoury and a lovely mouthfeel. Taste, appearance, packaging.

I can't take this packaging much longer ! – Why oh why the extra packaging/ when i need a cup of tea i want it pronto , now its slow down and unwrap the fancy packaging. What is the point of it. It drives me crazy. I follow the instructions re unwrap here , peel here, it takes me so much longer. Please please revert to the old packaging, it must be cheaper, because its so much easier. … Read more

Quality Black Tea - over packaged!! – I love Lipton tea, and up until now it's the only tea I drink. My 'small cup of tea can make a big difference'. Really? Can you please explain how your claims of supporting the environment are justified with the excessive and unnecessary packaging now surrounding my small cup of tea? I dont think its the kind of difference I want to support, and… Read more

I don't think I've ever drank a stale cup of tea either...

Anyone tried Bushells? I like the tea. Hate the packaging.

Good – This is a great tea to drink when you are trying to drink healthy green tea. It really is very refreshing, but you have to be careful to not let it brew no more than 2 - 3 minutes. If you keep it longer, then it tastes very bitter and not drinkable. This is great tea to try and its easy and affordable to purchase the small 10 tea bag box and try… Read more

to see if you like the taste. I like to drink this tea during the day and it is refreshing and very light to drink, so it doesnt overwhelm me like some teas do. This is a great tea to try if you want to drink the refreshing and apparently healthy green tea. I like this tea, but if you leave it longer than the recommended few minutes, it goes very bittery, unlike the regular teas. So, you really have to watch the clock when you are having this tea.

Excellent – This is the brand of green tea that i always go back to. Other green teas, especially loose leaf i find too bitter and overpowering but this is perfect. I drink several cups during the day and sometimes even squeeze some lemon juice into it. Green tea is a good choice because it has so many health benefits and Lipton produce a good tasting green… Read more

tea. I highly recommend this tea. Lipton Green tea has a nice clean taste that is not overly bitter even when you have the bag seeping for a long time. The Lipton brand is available everywhere. Nothing at all.

Good – Lipton Green Tea is a good value, affordable everyday tea. It is a great, refreshing drink with clean flavours without the bitter after taste. It's flavour may be a little plain for some and it could be improved if it had a little lemon or jasmine added to it. The 100 pack is great value for money and provides a much healthier alternative to… Read more

have throughout the day compared to soft drinks. If you are looking for an alternative to black tea, Lipton's Green Tea is worth a try. Refreshing taste. Good for your health. Value for money. Could use a touch a jasmine to give its flavour more character

Good – This is not a bad tea, mild in flavour, pleasant enough and I would rate it as a one of the better brands, but for myself, I prefer something else to give green tea a bit of oomph-maybe a hint of lemon myrtle or jasmine. I like green tea, and this one is quite nice. The price is reasonable compared to other brands. Green tea is also supposed to be… Read more

quite good for you. It can taste a bit weak till you get used to it but in its favour, you need no milk or sugar. My personal preference is for a little stronger taste and I tend to go for a hint of jasmine in the tea, it seems to improve the flavour.

Excellent – Overall, i love the flavour and drink it every morning; it gives me lasting energy for the day and makes me feel great. It warms you and fills you up and is great with any meal of the day. I recommend highly not only because of its taste but its health benefits. Green tea is my favourite tea - i never liked tea much but i really like this one. It… Read more

is really good for your health and makes you feel energised and healthy as well as being hot and soothing. There are many different flavours. Good if you have a cold; sore throat/ headache it clears your head / nose in minutes. I need to add a spoon of sugar to get the right flavour which takes away from the health part a little but still worth it. If your not used to drinking tea you might not like it at first but give it time and you will get used to the taste.

OK – The flavour of Lipton Green Tea is very mild and a bit dull/lacklustre for my taste. Even if you leave the tea bag in for a good while it never gets particularly strong. Personally I prefer jasmine green tea leaves or bags bought at Asian stores - they're cheaper and the taste is far superior (greater earthiness and fragrance).
