I’m known as the lock & lock queen!! – I have multiple lock & lock containers of all sizes and shapes. Most of them I’ve had for at least 15 years and I use them daily! They are fantastic and I’ve only ever had one broken one where a wing fell off but still perfectly useable! The trouble is that I can’t readily buy them where I live otherwise I’d be buying dozens more. Show details

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICED – I absolutely love the Lock N  Lock products. I eventually would love to replace all of my Tupperware (which also has a lifetime warranty and I've taken advantage of that many times) with all Lock N Lock Containers. That being said my Aunt recently passed away on March 29, 2024 and when we cleaned out her apartment I took her Lock and Lock… Read more

containers. One of the Lock N Lock containers has a broken wing on the lid. So I went on the QVC website and looked at the warranty information, and it requires proof of purchase for replacement lids. I don't know about you, but I don't keep my receipts after a year, two years, three years.... who keeps receipts for 5 years? In any event, I thought I would still call the toll free number and speak to a Lock and Lock representative and explain my situation, after all, it's a good product, and I assumed they'd have excellent customer care service. Was I ever wrong. There's no way I'm going to get a replacement lid, even if I take a picture of the lid that I currently have, with only three wings, and email it to them. They want an order number or a receipt. How ridiculous is that? If I've got the item in my possession, and it's defective, and I prove it by sending them a picture via email, why won't they uphold the warranty? I think that's crappy customer service and I won't be doing anymore business with Lock N Lock. I guess it's back to Tupperware for me because any time I've had an issue with any of my Tupperware (and some of my tupperware is 20 years old or older) they still replace it, and they don't ask me for a receipt or an order number. If I've got the item in hand, and it's defective, they replace it. I guess from a company's perspective, that's how they save money by skirting around the warranty..... because they know people don't keep receipts that long. Frustrating and at the same time disappointing.

Great containers – I love the Lock n Lock containers. They seal well and keep items inside fresh. My favourite are the 12L rice containers, and I use two to store my cats dry food in. They have turned out to be the best containers ever for this, and they also come with a scoop which has proved very handy. Customer service from the company is exceptional, as I needed one replaced recently which was done without a hassle. Definitely recommend these products. Show details

Do not waste your money – I purchased these as a TSV from QVC. Right away there was a problem with a lock being defective. Later I noticed there was a lid missing for one of the containers and another lock broke. I sent them back and I think I will stick with Rubbermaid or Tupperware or Glad. Show details

Almost broke my hand on this thing – These containers are defective. I purchased the Lock and Lock 11oz. Container. I used it to store something once, the next time I used it is tightened up while I am twisting to open. My hand began to ache, the next morning my hand is swollen and it seems like a bone out of place or fractured. I’m still waiting to get a diagnosis. It’s still swollen after a month and I thought it would self heal but it still is stiff and painful.  Show details

Awesome Containers!! – My husband left this container on the top of his truck when he left for work. About 10 minutes later going 60 down the highway it fell off.. This container did not break at all!!! Very little scratching on the top and none on the bottom!

Awful – The Tritan lock n lock containers cracked and broke after only 7 months of normal use. Don’t waste your money . I replaced them with Rubbermaid Tritan containers for half the price! Show details

Five years on - still love these containers – I purchased a range of lock & lock containers for pantry storage 5 years ago. I use the small containers for herbs & spices and larger containers for flours etc. I find they stack nicely and do not move in my pull out pantry. I also find the lids easy and the click is very satisfying - my kids have no trouble using these. Five years after… Read more

purchase and not a single container has broken. When empty the containers are washed in the dishwasher - top or bottom rack, wherever it will fit - on auto setting and I've not experienced any warping or other issues that some of the other reviews mentioned. The negative reviews left by others do not match my experience at all.

They do not stack well &, therefore, take up more space than necessary – I understand the quality of the product but as storage space can be an important issue, these are a let down. Only the smaller size will stack inside the next size up - if you have several of the same size, they don't fit inside each other but sit precariously on top. I really regret purchasing these for that reason but I bought a large 60 or so… Read more

set & didn't use them straight away so couldn't do anything about it & now I'm always rearranging everything in frustration, trying to fit them in which wouldn't be such an issue if they really did stack properly. I've never encountered this 'oversight' before & can't ignore it when it comes to my rating.

Best snaplock-type system I've tried – I use several sizes in this Lock & Lock system, they don't leak, are easy to see through, easy to open and stack really well. I use them mainly to freeze soups, meals and even cake, I don't have a microwave or dishwasher and find them very successful for my purposes. I've got several other plastic containers including Tupperware; Decor… Read more ·  1

(hopeless); and Sistema, but the Lock & Lock I consider the best of the lot. I haven't purchased Tupperware for years and the lids on most of the ones I still have are hard for me to open as I have arthritis in wrists, and one lot the lids have never fitted properly. Very Happy with Lock & Lock.

Lock and Lock plastic containers - DO seal! – I have these containers for kid's lunches and I think they are great!!!. I feel I should address the negative reviews here.... 1) - Staining - any plastic will stain with a tomato or curry /turmeric based sauce. The only thing that does not stain is glass or stainless steel! 2) Re : The comment about them being dangerous - I agree with Carroll… Read more

110%, this is NOT TRUE! They are airtight and cooling food WILL create a vacuum - this is how we preserve all the jam and bottled products in the supermarket - bottle it hot and seal it. If there is vacuum, the lid will NOT explode! The same as your next jar of olives or jam when you open it. Elementary physics my dear!

3) Container opening up on impact...reading between the lines....perhaps the lid had not been clicked on properly?

4) misshapen in the dishwasher ? Use the top rack and don't use the Auto temperature setting - it goes up to 65 deg and dishwasher detergent is CORROSIVE - it will ruin pretty much ANY plastic eventually. I do wash mine in the dishwasher but NEVER on the bottom. I DO use the auto function sometimes - so far my containers are fine.

Lock & Lock lids – These lids are NOT dangerous. They do warn you not to use the lids with the seal side down in the microwave as it will cause a vacuum. The same holds true with putting hot items in them and not letting them cool down. It stands to reason that this will also cause a vacuum. If you do put the lid on after placing a hot item in a container you can… Read more

get the lid off with a butter knife between the lid and the edge of the container and gently twisting the knife. The lid will come right off. I have done this many times. If used properly they work like a charm. Remember when reading negative reviews on any site it doesn't mean that the user is using the product the correct way.

The lids – The lids are very hard to open, and some of mine wouldn’t even click to close (to lock), too annoying to use. I dropped one on a hard wood floor one day and the whole thing opened up. By the way contrary to what they claim, they do leak and NOT air tight! I don’t use them anymore, except for dog bowls and mixing up paint for crafting, etc.

Dangerous! – Be very careful with this product. It's dangerous! If you put something hot in it you have to wait until it is completely cooled off before putting the lid on. And even at that, you can't get the lids off. You cannot heat up with the lid on either. It causes a vacuum and the lid sucks into the container and could explode if you try to pry it… Read more

off. These are the worst containers I've ever owned. The lids are always getting stuck to the container and there is no way to pry them off. I've had to throw away at least a dozen pieces with the food still in them, wasting $$$ dollars.

Lock & Lock no other – These containers are great. I love the 470ml ones for storing individual meals as I cook large amounts when I do cook casseroles, stews, soups etc. Store them in freezer and microwave when needed. Totally dish washer and microwave safe as far as I'm concerned

Tupperware move over – My first set came as a gift when buying a portable fridge for the car.I Agree with all the other good qualities already mentioned plus they keep ants out! We have been traveling in a caravan for 6 years and ants are a nightmare. They are also designed to stack perfectly in caravan fridges. At first I thought the really small containers were a waste… Read more

however I use them all the time, great to store left over tomato paste etc in.They are the only containers I use now.

Great Quality, Great Look, Great Product – Lock & Locks are air tight and they don't leak. They are also quite affordable and last a long time; I've had mine for over 3 years. They are also freezer & microwave friendly which makes it so convenient. Definitely worth a try!!

Getting replacement lids when they break is a prolonged and painful experience – The lock and lock is indeed water tight and this is a big bonus. As I have arthritis, the lids are easy to open when they are new, but it steadily gets a lot harder as the plastic become brittle and warped, over time. and their warrenty / replacement lids are an epic effort: I have waited 6 weeks for a lid replacement, with the lock and lock representative trying to avoid replacing the product and not standing behind their product.

Don't live up to the hype, Inferior quality better off paying more for a better quality – Within one week of receiving some containers. The walls of those that had been placed in dishwasher had warped and lids no longer fitted. The containers stain if you put anything like a spaghetti sauce or curry in them. One accidentley knocked off counter, shattered when hitting the floor ( and it hadn't been in freezer). Don't waste your money, you pay cheap you get cheap. Poor quality, false advertising, inferior product

Cheap, efficient and high quality – Great, I have one of these, it doesnt leak from the lid when I hold soups in it or oil for that matter. I like how companies are producing high quality items at low prices these days, makes consumers like us much more happier. I have a 26c piece at home and it pretty much stores everything. No leaks, cheap

Perfect! – I bought the 33pc set after doing a check on other sites as well as the L&L site, to see who had the best deal. Threw out all my other mishmash containers, even the tupperware from years ago and now I have a 'brand new' pantry! Easy to see what is in each container. I have my own labeling machine so that was a big help too. Used up the whole set… Read more

Excellent Pantry Storage – I love my Lock & Lock containers. I use them all the time in addition to my Tupperware ones. They are 100% watertight so I marinate in them and can turn them over without any leakage. They are fantastic for camping as esky water doesn't seep into them spoiling food. Kids can open them as well. They have good deals on the shopping channels… Read more

Lock & Lock containers are great for caravan cabinet – We bought 26pcs mega value set of Lock & Lock from Food Storage Solutions website for our caravan. They are perfect for caravan! Because they don't spill things and save lots of spaces in our caravan. Highly recommend for caravan and camping people!! Absolutely airtight and watertight as they are described to be. Great for caravan cabinet. Even if they are BPA free, still they are plastic. Some of my old containers have changed colours.

Better than tupperware – This stuff is awesome. And I would rate better (or at least as good as) tupperware - at a fraction of the price. Carrots in the fridge stay crunchy for weeks with these containers. Highly recommend them. Keeps things fresh for weeks.

Excellent – These are a great product, far better than any similar product on the market, including the lookalikes that are available. BPA free which is excellent Fantastic product, I actually prefer it over the tupperware. The containers stack well and the seal is airtight. They are much easier to open and close than tupperware and are see through. They can be expensive but there are good bargains to be found online.
