Great sound for its size, but – It turns itself off frequently unless you have the output/source volume turned up to maximum, even then it will sometimes turn itself off. This is really annoying, especially if you use headphones at other times. But if you can pick one up for a decent price, it is worthwhile. the width of the unit allows a decent amount of separation between the speakers, much better than box style units. Show details

Expensive piece of crap – Turns itself off continually after 60 secs of playing. No replacement for faulty recall offered.Took back to where bought it. Plugged in played so he said it's fine handed it back. Still doesn't work. Purchased it 2 yrs ago. Just found it again after being stored while away. Plugged in still doesn't play more than 60 sec on mains. Won't buy Logitech again.

Wish i took it back when i got it years ago – I'm going to start off with im a huge fan of Logitech and own many products of their ( g500 mouse, g19 keyboard, z4 speakers just to name a few and all work amazingly) I bought these speakers a few years ago and they worked ok when i got them but they would always cut out and still do. The battery has never lasted over 4 hours from when i got it,… Read more

pretty sure the box said 10 hours.

There is a button on them allows you to what im pretty sure allows you to go from 2 to 4 speakers on, I am yet to find a song that sounds better with all 4 speakers going. so far all songs sound better with just 2 speakers, which is sad.

My biggest regret was not returning these for a refund years ago. i paid about $280 for them too.

The control is rubbish and i never used it, They case was the best thing about this product.

Great Sound – I too was initially puzzled by this product's tendency to have power-off and volume problems (Apple updates?). However when more familiar with its features, I used it for teaching - formerly using an iPod Touch and latterly with an iPAD via cable, both to great effect. Its battery power lasts a couple of lessons on average. It's of well-made,… Read more

durable construction and looks good. Two of my friends went out and bought the same model!

The sound is the key; it's clear, rich and sharp (using iPod's EQ) and cuts through with little to no bass distortion, delivering acceptable volume without the audience getting 'listening fatigue' common to cheaper products.

5 stars if Logitech fix the 'lag' and lack of responsive from the hand-held remote but hey! nothing's perfect. Clear, rich sound at volume. Still great 4 years on. Long user learning curve, poor remote, loose dock now needs wedging.

Design fault means it keeps turning off – I just wish I'd googled this dock before buying it - had I done so I would have seen countless negative reviews highlighting that it turns off even when plugged into the mains if it thinks it isn't playing music. There are work arounds, but surely you shouldn't have to turn your ipod up to max volume just to get this thing to work - esp as the use… Read more

I have for it is to play 24/7 in my newborn baby's room to help him sleep! Cheap (but there is obviously a reason for that!), looks good, rechargable Massive design fault that means it turns off ALL the time (sometimes after 2 mins, sometimes 5, but it always manages to do it, even when I'd turned it up very loud)

Good – I bought this for my girlfriend to use with her nano but now I use it myself everyday with my iPhone. The toiler, shower, backyard, kitchen... no where is safe as this thing is very portable and comes with a carry case. The remote is very handy also. Only problem is the recharger can have trouble working and this has been a common issue with… Read more ·  1

the device. Logitech has an excellent, long-term warranty though, and if you look online, you can fix the issue yourself (as I did).

It can also be plugged into any other media device such as third party mp3 players or notebooks.

Strongly recommended. Good battery life

Good quality sound and volume for size

Rechargeable

Logitech quality

Compatibility with all apple portable music players Common fault with recharger

Will go flat quite quick at very high volumes
