Seriously the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They tell you to go everywhere else to fix the issues. Then you call back and get a different story from the next person. I've only had my eSim for 10 days and I've had to make more calls to them for problems that I have had to make to my other phone provider in 15 years! Lesson… Read more

I do not recommend this sim company I paid $150 for a 12 month data plan but each month they allocate you 17 gigs. Those 17 gigs constantly run out within the first two weeks forcing you to top up more data so overall I’ve spent a lot more than what I would like. I generally do not even use up 17 gigs in a month with other plans like Kogan or Amaysim and lycamobile definitely are not fairly allocating data. You’re better off with another sim Show details

Lycamobile charged my credit card in error despite auto-renew being switched off. Back and forth emails with documentation and questions have so far been unsuccessful for a refund. Customer service people appear not to be talking to each other and a simple mistake on their part had been compounded by their ineptitude. Stay away from this company.

I disagree with most of the negative reviews – I am very satisfied with Lyca and would recommend it to friends and family. customer service rep DEO, who really went above and beyond his duty in answering my inquiries and resolving my request, timely and professionally. I realize that most consumers don't read the terms and conditions when they signed up, and have misunderstood the bundled plans they've purchased. Embarrased by their own ignorance, they resort to coming onto this platform to make false accusations and leave irresponsible claims.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought a 365 days pre-paid sim with 12 renewals for my daughter. She accidentally inputted her details when porting in, which should have been my details instead. She was unable to renew.… Read more

She provided both of our details as the customer agent requested. She was told she would get a reply within 7 working days, but only got one 27 working days later and the reply was useless!!! The agent on the phone always said that the case was moved to the highest priority, and that this was out of their control. It is not acceptable that the customer service can just say "out of my control" and do nothing about the problem. The person who replied apparently never read through her email properly and requested the same things that were already given, and it would take another 7 working days to reply again!!! I tried to call the customer service several times, but was unable to reach them for over an hour. Now my daughter cannot use her phone for over a month, and she cannot go anywhere without me as she is unable to communicate via phone. If there was the option to do so, I would rate this company for a negative 10-point review.

 Follow-up  · It has been FOUR MONTHS since the phone number was locked. This company has no follow-up if we don't call them. Every time the customer service on the phone said the same thing: "We have escalated this issue. It will take 24-48 hours for the email team to reply. It is out of our hands. After reading reviews here, I was a bit worried about porting my number to Lyca. My number was previously with OnePass, and I couldn’t find it in the provider list provided during the porting process, so I had to contact customer service. I did wait on the phone for about 30 minutes, and the call quality wasn’t very clear (there was quite a lot… Read more ·  1

of background noise on their end). That said, I was able to get the information I needed. After submitting the porting request online, the transfer itself was completed within just a few minutes.

This is only day one for me, so I can’t comment yet on the actual mobile data or call quality. However, as far as number porting goes, it worked without too much hassle.

For anyone currently with OnePass and wondering which provider to select when porting your number: choose Optus.

Complete service failure and extremely poor customer support. I requested an eSIM replacement with Lycamobile, and although the SIM swap appeared to go through, my plan was not carried over correctly. This left me with no service at all (no calls, SMS, or data) for over 6 days. During this time, I contacted customer support multiple times. Each… Read more

time I was given generic responses like “please wait” with no clear updates, no accountability, and no resolution. A supervisor callback was promised but never happened. The issue only moved forward after significant escalation.

When my service was finally restored after a week, the problem still wasn’t fully resolved — the wrong plan was applied (17GB instead of the 30GB I originally purchased), and I am still chasing them to correct it.

Being without a mobile service for that long is completely unacceptable, especially when it is needed for work, banking, and verification codes.

Overall, this experience shows serious issues with both system reliability and customer support. I would not recommend Lycamobile based on this experience

Order a sim card, cannot even activate..... their website deletes the file as soon as you upload the specific ID they require to open an account..... tried different browsers, different file types, nothing. Went to another provider and instantly no problems. By the reviews I probably dodged a bullet, I've requested a refund, this was almost a week ago with no reply.

It's been almost a month since I purchased Lyca's 12 month prepaid plan, which I believe was on sale. Due to not having the relevant ID for single authentication I attempted two-factor authentication using my Medicare card and an attachment of a Bank Statement. center couldn't do 2-factor either and said I'd need to Email. So I emailed my information through, initially they replied telling me about the option that had already failed but I did find out I also needed to confirm my address with a bill. I sent this through and since then haven't heard from them, emailed a week later requesting resolution and a refund for the first month given the lack of access. Reminded them *again* a week later and gave last notice or I'd prefer a full refund.

The complete lack of customer service is inexcusable and I have now requested my bank to dispute the charge for the initial purchase so I can get my money back. Here's hoping they won't make things worse by contesting my claim. Lyca is not at all to be depended on, don't gamble on them even if the price seems tempting.

MMS NOT INCLUDED on the unlimited talk and text plan, charged 62c per MMS additional to your plan. So if you have no top up credit on your account, you INSTANTLY LOSE CAPABILITY of sending MMS on your Lyka number. The customer service is not great, and when they processed my refund, they didn't update me during the 2 week process, my sim just randomly got wiped out and with no communication, I suddenly had SOS only.

issue. When I asked to speak to their Customer Support team, they told me: "Sorry, they do not have a phone number. My hands are also tied, as I also cannot contact the Customer Support team."

I have not had phone or mobile data service for more than 2 months after purchasing a year long plan, and was forced to purchase a replacement SIM card from a different provider. I have emailed them multiple times during the past 3 months, each time assured that I would receive a response from their Customer Support team within "5-7 business" days, however, they have taken over 10 business days (excluding weekends!) on every occasion. If you do not actively call their customer service team to follow up on the email, you will only receive a response after 21 days, to my dismay.

If any problems occur in the duration of your plan, then expect your problem to remain unsolved until you find a new provider.
