Awful piece of machine from day1 – Bad machine at making shakes it splashes through the gap between lid and pot. At grinding vegetables the last bit gets stuck on the grind plate and the machine wobbles around. Impossible to connect the pot to the machine while the blade is already in it (important with liquids). Would buy another magimix even if I was paid to.  Show details

I love this food processor. Powerful yet compact – I have had mine for about a year and use it every other day. I bake sweet treats at a cafe and take it in to assist me with this also, so it gets a fair work out. I have found the power output great - it gets the job done without a worry. I also use the small bowl too regularly and the grating blade. I have nothing but positive things to say about this appliance.

Terrible from the word Go – I've had mine for about 4 years and use it irregularly. From the start it has been really difficult to fit the bowl and especially the lid-- usually I have to manouvre it several times. now it is completely impossible, and will have to be thrown out. As well, the instruction booklet is very unsatisfactory

Just Right – Bought the magimix 3150 food processor and i am very happy just the right size and does a great job on the vegies comes with a book which is very helpful also has other attachements you can buy if needed. I highly recommend it for smaller familys as it saves time. Does everything a mixer and blender does. You can even buy a juicer attachment as well. Size cost warranty

Terrible customer support - Never recommend – My 20 year old magimix became un-repairable so was happy to buy a new one. It arrived after purchasing it online. It is a great mixer. But the bowl is incredibly difficult to lock into place. And the lid is even more difficult. When locking the lid into place, the entire bowl warps out of shape. Having only had the product that we paid more than… Read more

$400 for, I contacted Magimix and asked them to replace the unit, as it was obviously faulty. The bowl and lid require so much force to lock them into place, that my grandmother is incapable of doing it herself. On the old one, she had no problem whatsoever.

Magimix customer support solution was for me to proceed and make 30 minute trips back and forward to the repair center. The repair center have been great. They acknowledge that there product is obviously faulty. They tried changing the bowl and lid for me, but the problem persists.

Because I bought the product and it was faulty from the start, my complete disgust is that Magimix company feels it is ok for me to make trips backwards and forwards, an hour each trip to attempt to fix the problem. And now that the replacement bowl and lid dont solve the problem, the next option is for me to leave the mixer at the shop and lose use of the product. Again, I bought it brand new and should not have to have to make all these trips and then lose use of the product. Magimix is sold at a premium price. The product support needs to match. If a product is faulty off the shelf, it should be replaced and become the problem of the company supplying the product.

I am disgusted by the attitude of the management at Magimix. I would never ever recommend using any of their products. Good mixer in theory Product faulty out of the box and Magimix would not replace the unit.

Wish I had bought one sooner! – Research, research and more research! I did so much research before purchasing this product and everything pointed in its direction. It has been fabulous and I find myself cooking more often. It's just a joy to use. It's extremely quiet. It is very easy to use. Put simply, it works well. Expensive but with such a long warranty on the motor, I believe I'll get good use out of this product. Show 2 replies
