The worst washing machine ever purchased – This doesn't clean clothes, it rips them to shreds. Then after ripping them leaves lint everywhere. I don't know how people can rate these as a good washing machine producer. They are rubbish and I've tried a few washers in my time. My sis in law had one 20 something years ago and loved it. Obviously things change and manufacturers cut corners and we all end up with lemons. That what I ended up with after a considerable amount of hard earnt cash.

Love my Maytag – Couldnt believe the reviews! My Maytag is 4.5 years old, and the newer machines may have a design difference, but mine does a fantastic job. Gets my husbands greasy overall clean as well as my woolen blankets, delicates etc. I never have a lint problem either. I can add towels to any other loads. I only ever wash in cold water. I love my machine. Frequent use of fabric softener glugs up pipes etc and can cause lint problems, maybe that is what is causing the problems with the people who have given bad reviews.

Terrible – Lint!Disgusting,no matter what. Residue in the bowl, gross. Noise unbearable! Cannot spin dry 6 towels to an expected level- still sopping wet. Google Maytag sucks! and see many more unhappy customers....Please take this off the market. Nothing but trouble. Trust me -Maytag is not the company they were. It looks like an honest Maytag machine. A trustworthy friend that would stay with you for many MANY years. Basically, it is a lemon and Fredrick Maytag would be rolling in his grave. If Fred JNR is still around...well he would be disgusted too. So sad to see what has happened to this company. First impressions after set up were an overly noisy machine and lint worries. Then spin drying wasnt sufficient. Everything was horrible. So deeply disappointed by Maytag. Took myself and my husband a good half hour to get the machine up stairs and into the house as it was so heavy

Terrible – built on reputation prior to new Models being MADE IN FOREIGN off shore Countries! atrocious QUALITY! JUNK don't waste your money this was a replacement for a Faulty F&P machine Front loading top Loader! what ill get Next I'm not SURE! NOTHING and Still Encountering Problems only a weekly basis!! NOTHING and Still Encountering Problems only a weekly basis since It was delivered i've had the machine replaced Three times now had the Motor replaced, hot/cold water solenoid and its Noisey beyond Belief wakeing up my unit block of Twelve units on three Floors< servic keep on keeping on coming and changing most of the internals ! iv had enough im going to lodge a claim for arbitration with "DEPT of FAIR TRADING"

Terrible – waste of a good name... curse u whirlpool!! never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever again! NOTHING!!!! whirlpool have trashed the good name.. such a shame everything.. slimy linty rough on my clothes practically tears shreds off my wifes delicates ( like she does to me for purchasing it) feel like slapping the salesperson for even speaking the words "quality maytag" pfffttt... yuk yuk yuk
