Poor quality ! – Bought in 2011 when we relocated from USA as a decent 220 Volt Fridge. failed, which caused ice to accumulate and block the cold air flow. The repaid cost $250 plus all the trouble of moving all the food in and out. We learned from the tech that this is very common failure of this Fridge. After 5 years, again major repair, this time the Ice maker shortcut electricity. The tech disconnect the Ice maker for good and once gain, all the food was out and back in (with the help of our good neighbors). We learned from the tech that this is very common failure of this Fridge. After 6 years, again .... well you got the idea. This Fridge was designed to have a failure once a year. We practically replace or disconnect every component in it. Stay away from this model .
15 Years of Happiness – Been very happy with this fridge, Maytag.. 15 years and it was still happy as a bee until we went away and the icemaker kept making ice and burnt out.. we always went away before and not a problem.. maybe its age and never had it serviced at all.. moved 3 houses since then and maybe its time to give it up.. i loved this fridge.. very dependable… Read more

Utterly disappointing – Paid a fortune for this handsome, solid fridge. Had many problems with it and have spend thousands on repairs over the years. And Yes, it should last longer than the 7 or so years we've had it. Finally, it stopped altogether, and was shorting out the rest of the power. gas leak and was unrepairable. It's now going out for scrap metal. What a huge waste of resources, not to mention time and money.
Fridge – Never had a problem with my fridge had it years. Would recommend this fridge to anyone. I have not even needed a service on this product
worst fridge I've ever owned! – I bought a Maytag as when I lived in the USA my fridge was a Maytag and I never had a problem with it, however, this model is a lemon. One month after the warranty expired, the fridge broke down, I had it repaired, eight months later it broke down again and now, six months later it's thawed everything in the freezer!! the look and brand everything!
Disappointing Mistake – I am so disappointed, This fridge has never reached the recommended standard fridge/freezer temperatures, food goes off quickly before the use by dates. We paid over $3000.00 for this fridge, and within one year replaced the board. faulty, and likely has been since the beginning, then told it is out its 5yr warranty by a few days, and 6 months later we are still waiting on the replacement at a huge cost. Shame on Maytag. Looks really nice, and we thought this one would be as reliable as our previous fridge. Food goes off before use by date, cannot keep food in it > 3 days, and cannot use the ice cubes etc because it does not chill well.
Terrible – I would never recommend this fridge to anyone however customer care service was understanding however didn't agree to reimburse us for food lost due to their faulty product. hitting against each other again and we had to get them adjusted, fine for that day however they hit against each other again. The product worked well for 2months then we started having problems with the fridge section freezing. Consequently the water filter froze then splitand when the fridge compartmentreturned tonormal water gushed everywhere over the fridge and kitchen flood.The company attempted to correct the problem however several attempts were fruitless. Hundreds of dollars of food later I wrote a letter to a consumer case manager at Maytag and finally received confirmation they would refund my money. Satisfaction at last!
Terrible – Bought in May 2008. Within months there were problems. Several attempts to fix. Things have now escalated to the point where fridge is turned off more hours than on due to freezing everything. Customer service rude & hostile. Hopefully will reached a resolution next week. The look
