Maytag MAF1260AAW

Terrible – Expensive, will never ever buy MAYTAG again. Tech. doesn't know whats wrong. Replaced parts, still not working. Save yourself the hassle. Do Not Buy This Machine Cant think of any. Less than four years old and now not repairable.

Terrible – Absolute dog. Do not buy a maytag. This machine cost a lot but was cheaply made. I was conned by the name. The Leyland P76 of the washing machine world. Absolutely NIL Rusted after 6 months,repaired 3 times under extended warranty, now the bearings have gone after 3 years.

Terrible – I would not recomend this machine. It was expensive at the time, the clothes are never clean. a ridiculous filter that needs a screw driver to open to clean. Should have fone with a meile. Not much would not reccomend noisy, doesnt wash properly. Seals get mouldy and are impossible to clean.

Terrible – We wish we hadn't spent the money on an unreliable machine, and although Maytag were sympathetic during our breakdown (without the use of machine for approx 12 weeks) the local service agent was impossible to deal with. electronics are playing up with some cycles hard to access. uses too little water for effective clothes washing.

Good – I have had a Maytag for over 3 years and have no problems with it except for when the filter has become blocked-my own fault for not checking that all pockets are empty of coins, haitclips etc. The door seal did go mouldy very quickly-even though I always leav the door open when it is not in use. usually due to the wrong type or amount of detergent being used in a front loader. I always use the quick wash option and cold water. Economy, cold water wash Seals going mouldy

Terrible – extra rinse reqd to ensure detergent removed, rubber seals became mouldy almost immediately despite leaving door open when not in use, became very noisy after approx 12 months, drum completely damaged and after 3 years not repairable, would not recommend variety of programs especially daily wash and delicates, cold water wash very sudsy despite… Read more

Terrible – DISGUSTING FROM MAYTAG AND WHIRLPOOL.GO ELSEWHERE!!!!Why buy this product, when there is NO support for it. Maytag outsourced these machines and do NOT support them. It was good on water and power when it worked.... Whirlpool now own Maytag and don't care. 3 years use of an over expensive machine and it is irrepairable. Don't buy a Maytag or a Whirlpool, as the after sales wouldn't even return a call.
