Terrible – Repairs you have to wait upto a week which is no good when you have 3 children. The machine is no good and neither is the after sale service. I hope I have helped someone before they have the same problem as me. Good luck with your search! Good for 2 to 3 years This machine is noisy. Short washes do not clean all that well. Yes they are almost dry when they come out.

When shopping for a new machine 3 years ago, I thought I had done my research, but it seems I fell for the salesmans lies. The machine cost $1300 and 3 years later I need to pay a further $400 on repairs. I will be replacing this machine I will not be paying this every 3 years, and I fear something else may go wrong. This machine will be going to the tip where it belongs.

Excellent – I love my Maytag; It is the best washing machine I've ever used. I've not had a problem at all with mine. You can pile loads of clothes into it and they will still come out clean. I will never buy anything but a Maytag again. I highly recommend this unit. Clothes ALWAYS come out clean including our farm clothes, the quick wash cycle is great, uses minimal water, spins clothes out well, is a tidy unit and has quiet operation. When using the quick wash cycle you cannot wash a full load - must be a small load or won't wash/spin out properly.

Good – fairly noisy spin cycle but I guess most front loaders are the same due to the high speed. I consider user reviews as very important when buying products you know nothing about. at this stage I wouldn't hesitate to buy this model again. I guess time will tell. good range of cycles, both wash & spin. seems to clean fine. had for 18 mths and only problem was self inflicted. paper in childs pocket blocked filter & stopped working. once I cleaned the filter, away it went.
