Good – This machine has served us well for over 3 years - had it repaired once for not draining. only issue is Whirlpool are synonymous for CRAP customer service/repairs/parts availability - even the repairman said so. Luckily he had a generic replacement part that has now made it work. I am pleased with the machine, we have a maytag d/w that has served us excellently for the past 7 years. express wash option, lots of options to choose, delay timer, capacity good. service provided by takeover company (whirlpool)

Terrible – We purchased a MAF1675, the same as the 1375 except it spins faster. Well this was the start of our issues. While at the store the retailer contacted Maytag to confirm delivery. We were promised 10 days! Well 3 months later (after many phone calls by the retailer and us to Maytag with many contradictory stories) the machine arrived. Within 2/3 months the decals are smuging. We contacted Maytag and they blamed using washing agents near the machine! This was interesting to us as we though you were meant to use washing agents near washing machines!

After trying through the repair agent and directly to get a new decal, Maytag have now said they will buy the machine back and they are not importing these models into the country anymore. (If you have one of these models get in touch quickly with Maytag, maybe they want yours back too. Either way get in contact because in years to come there will be no spares!)

This is our second Maytag machine, the first lasted 8 years and we replaced that with a Maytag because of the good name. It had a good spin speed and was 4 star water rated Dishonest and bad manufacturer support, defective product. We will never buy a Maytag or Whirlpool product again.

Bought a maytag as we thought it was a good brand....NEVER again. Have had nothing but drama with this machine. Multiple water leaks and now the main spin bearing has failed. ...cheaper to buy a new machine than replace, only 6 years old. Never again

Terrible – This is the worst product ever.. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. I have had 2 in the past 3 years (maybe)i would never have bought the second one but it was a insurance job. As a mum i bought what i thought was a good brand and reliable product. what i mistake.. MAYTAG their name means nothing. Why don't they learn to stand behind the products they produce.. Shame on Harvey for selling it to me too.. The look Where do i start

Good – This seems to be a well made washing machine with a good load capacity. Maytag appliances don't seem to have a good overall rating (do a Google and you too can spend many hours trawling through unhappy customer comments...) but so far I've had no problem with the machine in the last two and a half years. It does need its filter cleaning our regularly but that's no bad thing because firstly it means the machine is washing really well and secondly it's easy to do, so there's no problem there. As with any electrical applicance these days, I always opt for an extended warranty - I've got five years on this machine - so hopefully that solves any problems if they occur. I had a Whirlpool machine before the Maytag and the Maytag is definitely superior in build quality and function. Mind you I did have a coin in the pocket of my jeans which came out and wrecked the cylinder - the moral is, don't try and launder money... Made in UK, efficient, takes a big load filter needs regular cleaning
