Warning do not use ME Bank Impossible to contact my partner passed 2 months ago and put the loan on hardship At the time for obvious reasons . nothing contact BOQ again told nothing they could do . Need to take it off hardship and restructure the loan . At a complete loss how to deal with this company they are so frustrating a complete joke . Will ring again tomorrow hopefully dont get disconnected again after being on hold fir 2 hrs 20 . Terrible wait time on phone. 6 hours to answer my call. Yes, you read it correct 6 hours. Lost my whole day off to get on touch and then also no solution to the issue. 3 to 4 hours call waiting is common with them. If you have plenty of spare time or patience to wait go for ME BANK

I will request everyone, if Me bank is giving any good deal. do not go with it. It is terrible customer service. Long wait time. my first call with bank to talk to someone take 1hour 15 minute. 2nd day call last 60 minute & lost connection. now 3rd day. waiting for another more than 60 minutes. They do not have chat or email support. its worst bank that I trapped in.

Don't waste your time or money – I took out my first home loan with ME in 2000. For the first 15 years they were great however since their takeover they have been the worst bank I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I've now secured a loan through another bank to move my investment property to and have spent over 4 hours on the phone today (and still waiting) to get a discharge form for my loan. ME have been great! – I've banked with ME for a few years now and I find that their customer service is great, they are responsive, polite and informed. My homeloan was super easy to set up and the mobile lenders made it very easy. They have great, competitive variable rates. Great service and rates – My wife and I searched many financial products via our Financial Advisor, No Fuss Home Loans, and came across ME Bank. Although not the lowest rate, they were quite low, accepted us as borrowers even though we are 'older' people, and best of all accepted our loan application with only 5% equity. We found the service was great,-- we did it via our Financial Advisor:: Kathy Dundas [www.nofusshomeloans.com.au] AND, our conveyancer who helped us with property contracts:: Michelle Nassif [tri-stateconveyancing]. With ME Bank on our side, we had a great team. No fuss, no hassle.

Stay away from ME BANK - I would give zero stars if it were possible. They are abhorrent. Every phonecall to speak with someone, is met with a minimum of 45mins on hold. The longest yet was 2.5hrs! obtain a lower rate elsewhere have been ignored. ME Bank has failed on 3 occasions to settle the loan. The matter was escalated twice, followed by a formal complaint through their internal process. No communication nor action has occurred. In a financial crisis, their conduct is unscrupulous, and shows a complete lack of customer service and empathy...not to mention financial costs.

Being a home loan customer, they switched my P&I loan to Interest only without my permission. On top of it, charged me a late payment fee for a direct debit payment which the bank itself direct debits. this. I am complaining to the ombudsman as this is completely illegal, esp just changing my loan to interest only on their own!!

No customer service!!! Since being forcibly migrated to MEGo our mortgage discharge was cancelled by the bank with no communication. Only found out by calling solicitors for settlement date. The only human contact numbers available make you wait minimum of 30 mins to put you throught to new MEGo line 2hr9mins and then error message please call… Read more

again. Make sure you have an AFCA account you will need it to get any response. Online feedback form no response after 48 hours. It is now over a week since initial complaint. They have just been dreadful since BOQ acquisition. The only comforting thought is they will all be AI'd out of existence

I would give them -100 stars if I could. Stay away from them if you care about your peace of mind. They miss settlement date not once, but thrice and they do not have any escalation mechanism, neither for the customers nor for the Home Loan agents. It takes more than 2 hours to speak to their call center people, and they are the most incompetent… Read more

bunch you will come across. I cancelled my top up loan with them, and I have moved on to one of the big 4's. Just stay away from these incompetent bunch

money, but have not yet attributed it to the loan. So, I no longer have an asset, but look as though I am still considerably in debt.

I have also requested a breakdown of the pay-out figure. Apparently that could take up to 30 days to receive, even though they had to calculate it for settlement. So, the breakdown exists, but they will not send it through for 30 days: just because they can.

I have: - sent messages via the member portal - I have not yet received a response - lodged a complaint - I have not yet received a response - waited on hold for 50 minutes to be told that it will take time to get the funds attributed to the loan "because that is how long it takes"

Bank, and all that she receives is an automated response. This is ridiculous. Reading reviews here tells me it is the stock in trade of ME Bank. Unfortunately for me, this transaction has court orders, so the unnecessary delay is costing me money. I would not encourage anyone to take out any loan from ME Bank. So creepy.

Terrible experience – If I could give no stars or a negative rating I would. Never use Mebank for any type of finance at all. The lengths I have had to go through to payout my mother’s home loan is truly disgusting. 3 months and several phone calls later and we are still trying to get this resolved.

Stay away from these scammers – Stay away from these scammers! We started refinancing our loan and got payout letter from ME Bank, which was about $18000 higher than our current balance. We paid about $600 more to make sure the settlements is going to take place asap. Then another shock stroke in, they wanted another $1472 because bank is calculating interest rates on a monthly basis?!. Scammers and nothing else!!! Show details

before, wait for a call back, up to a three week wait! Put in a customer complaint on line as the website recommends, no call. It's been over a week. Next stop a complaint to AFCA. There is no customer service, and no offer of help unlesss you have a cookie cutter question.

Poor customer service – I have requested for a home loan payout letter once I paid my home loan. I had to ring multiple times with long waiting over the phone. Finally when I received the document it had the wrong property address on it,which is of no use for me. I have rang them again and I was told it will take another week to sort out this issue. Trying to change terms of mortgage contract with no written notice – I was told that because my mortgage is an "old product" I can no longer fix a portion of my loan. That is, they are wavering from the terms of the contract signed. I was given no written notice of this, it just came up as I was trying to refix my loan. been on hold for an hour, still waiting to be answered, and all I want to do is provide new details to pay a member fee. When we first joined ME Bank nearly 20 years ago, the service was amazing and personal, but now it is obvious the bank is favouring profits over customers. And please... I don't want a standard 'I'm sorry your experience hasn't been as expected and we value our customers' response from ME Bank. We've had terrible hold times for more than a year, so sorry doesn't cut it... our time is valuable and ME Bank waste a lot of it. Perhaps interest fees should be reduced by a $1 for every minute we are on hold! And when it comes to interest rates... everyone is doing it tought... perhaps banks should reduce profit margins and the silly fees they charge.

speaking to anyone on their 13 number!! Days to weeks to reply to Online banking messages. Being sent SMS about dishonoured repayments to loans that are already paid down to zero balance. Online banking being unavailable for more than 48hour over weekends. The order of online bank transactions not lining up with Statements, etc, etc. ME Bank know there are problems and have buried their heads in the sand. I can only assume that BOQ are running this part of their business into the ground and the customers are suffering for it.

reasoning. Pass on all rate rises along with the big banks despite promising savings for members based on them being only online. Routinely double debit our account for pay wave purchases. Promised these funds would be returned within a certain amount of business days but they failed to stick to this promise as well. Will request a discharge letter to leave them as soon as I can actually talk to someone. Avoid at all costs.

What happened to ME BANK?? – Our Mobile Bank manager was pretty much incompetent or so poorly trained that we missed our settlement by 3 months, costing us $13,000. AFCA offered us $2,000 compensation which we decided to accept otherwise we were told we'd get zero, can you believe that? Being threatened by the Complaints Authority. Dodgy bank Beware – Hi all terms and condition of this bank is against customer. I ended up loosing 2200 dollar while having money in offset account. Do not trust there offset account l. Been told discharge won’t fall in line with refinancing settlement – Have been told that there is no way my discharge will take place when my other bank is ready to settle.
