Great value – Very good quality tyre for lux passenger cars. My NISSAN Maxima 2014, had them stock and I can say that they do a good job all-round. Not a Sports tyre, they would be $100 each more, but safe and quite. Great for a lux ride.
Best tyre – Fitted to '98 Camry V6 (60,000 rotating spare). Leaves others for dead :Bridgestone RE92 (40,000 & no good in wet) & Yokohama C Drive (30,000 good handling however). Also fitted to '95 Subaru Liberty and got a sensational 70,000 K's NOT rotating spare. Best tyres of these 3 brands.
Best Tyres for Commodore – The tyres have excellent grip within both dry and wet weather conditions with the ability to accelerate, corner and brake beyond expectations of the car's limit. XM1+ is fairly quite and comfortable and really suit older commodore so well that you can almost say that the car was engineered for these tyres. Traveled over 90000kms but need to be replaced in the near future. Grip, Confidence, Comfortable A bit pricey but worth it
Great tyre! – I purchased a set of these tyres some time ago, and they have been great, I found these tyres to be quite affordable, I am very happy. The roads around Manukau are quite slippery in the wet, and these do a wonderful job at sticking my car to the road. very affordable tyres
Excellent – Superb, great .. Cannot think of a better tyre than this one.. I think these tyres should come as OEM with all Chevys I have a Chevrolet Aveo and I can personally testify to the absolutely fantastic improvement in drive comfort, after I switched over to the XM1+ The noise is gone, the drive comfort, handling e all is so much better, … Read more
Kudos to Michelin for a superb tyre. None at all. Only availabbility in India is a challenge.
I had to sweat a lot to get my size
Excellent – I'm very happy with these tyres. I purchased a pair from Bob Jane @ $119each, for the front of my 1997 Magna. I was immediately impressed with how much quieter, smoother and grippier these are over the Westlake H600's that were on the car. There is plenty of wet weater traction with the Michelins! They can be easy to overwhelmed with a quick… Read more
takeoff in the wet though - however I think this is more to do with the tyres being 205 65 15 on a car of the Magna's size and v6 power. Economy wise, I have not seen a marked difference, however since purchasing these tyres, I have not been doing as much long distance travel. I highly recommend these tyres to anyone looking for decent ones at a low price. Quiet
Grippy for the size
Excelent in wet weather
Good value for money
Ale to put up with my spirited driving None so far
Best tyre I've used – Do not be in any doubt that these are great tyres. I use them on a Honda Civic, and a VW Golf. Pros: Very Very Good Grip Good cornering, holds its own in the wet. Low road noise Cons: Double the cost of a budget tyre - but you'll probably get twice the mileage from it.
Excellent Tyres – I onto my 2nd set of Michelin Energy XM1+ (215/65/R16) on my 2003 Forester, currently they are at 55,000 Kms and still have around 5- 10,000 kms left on them at the current wear rate. I have already ordered my 3rd set of Michelin Energy XM1+'s even though the Michelin Energy XM2 has now replaced them and they will be fitted when the set… Read more · 1
current reach the wear bars. Excellent handling under both wet & dry conditions. Low road noise. Good ride. Value for money.
Solved all my problems – My Toyota Corolla (2002) has always aquaplaned in the wet and I thought that was just the nature of the car but since fitting a pair if EX2s on the front all those problems have disappeared. The car now handles well in the wet and feels firmer and steadier in all weathers At $145 they were not the most expensive I've ever bought but they made such a difference
Excellent – I drive a 2002 Toyota Camry and previously had Maxxis tyres and although they lasted me 60,000km with approx. 30% thread left they were already really dangerous. The Michelin XM1+ drives so much better! On the previous tyres, i was not confident with the way they gripped the road, even when driving sedately. These Michelins are incredible.… Read more
Excellent grip round corners, excellent quick stopping distance, no noticeable sidewall flex.
I've only been driving on these tyres for 1,000km though and will have to see how they last. Great stopping distance on a large and heavy car. Secure grip and gives a confident drive. Excellent performance in wet weather. Made with silicone technology for reduced rolling resistance to save fuel. Squeals a bit when stopping really fast or going around corners at speed. However, it doesn't feel like there's any loss of traction. Also, they are of a medium noise level, comparable to my old tyres, this is on a heavy car with soft shocks.
Excellent – I've had these tyres for some time and I'm extremely happy with them. I used to have Yokohamas C-Drive which were an awesome tyre. I drive a 2007 VW Golf and do about 40K kms of highway driving a year. I wanted a tyre that was good value, with good grip and a promise on long life. So far I got the first two wishes. I have so far done about 12k kms… Read more · 1
on these tyres and there is no sign of wear. So far so good. As a bonus these tyres are very quiet, quieter than the Yokos I had and they seem just as grippy even in the wet. Quiet, Grippy. Good price. None that I've encountered.
Excellent – I drive an 04 AWD Magna and have changed to the XM1+ from Goodyear NCT5's. The difference is very noticeable. Especially in a AWD(with all its great handling), i feel i can go as fast as i want around any bend with these tyres. I've currently got Nitrogen in the tyres which will also add extra life/performance etc. I bought mine for $160, but… Read more · 1
