MIELE - THE WORST BRAND FOR REFRIDGERATORS - Period ! AVOID the Brand. Its BAD – 4 refridgerators purchased for our homes. All 4 have some issue or the other. 2 are dead - due died. Not even a whimper or alert light. Dropped dead. This one lives with its door closure issues continuing. Earlier it was the top door that remained ajar leaving the fridge to start beeping through the night. Now its the lower freezer door. Ruined heaps of good food we find when we come back from office or a long weekend. Such a poor quality. over engineered to failure. Over 15K spent for purchase. Steep repair costs and Service visits. plastics cracked when the door closure mechanism failed. HORRIBLE. Never a MIELE again.

Very poor quality and expensive parts. don't by this fridge – Shelves, panels poor quality and the replacement parts are super expensive.

Don’t – This is a very poor product. Hinges break, closure mechanisms break, shelves break and control panel breaks. We have paid out significant sums to fix. Moisture drain regularly blocks. Time to cut our losses ... Waiting on a replacement.

Never buy a Miele Fridge – 8 years ago I wrote a review on a Miele fridge it was such a piece of crap that 2years after we bought it Miele gave us a new fridge. A new model kfn 14842 sd ed/cs it worked well for 6 years and then the fridge door would not close properly something was wrong with the door closure, the tech came around It worked again for a couple of months and then the same problem started again so for the last two years we learnt to just put up with it, our food would go off if we forgot to check to see if the door had closed shut properly, eventually the top inside door Sill cracked, and now the latest drama is when you open the fridge door the fridge wants to power off we would then have to power It back on all the time, well that was the last straw we now have bought another fridge. We will never ever ever buy another Miele fridge.
