Great piece of gear – Paid a lot of money for this oven 20 years ago and has been perfect. Recently broke the glass turntable and door opener button and bought a second hand one for the parts which also works perfectly. Steaming pile of Crap, avoid at all costs – This top end microwave is designed to fail,if the door latch breaks which it does very easily, it will blow all the micro electrics if you just replace the door latch. Unbelievably poor – $219 for their service dept to come out and change a globe! Second call out in 3 years and not only do I need a new globe, but the main circuit board has shorted out leaving me with $900+ to repair.. Not happening!! Panasonic........... so over paying for expensive European crap that is no better than Korean, Japanese and some Chinese products that work just as well. Over priced and over rated, just wish it would stay over there.

$219 to change a globe.................still in shock............Never, ever again will I buy Miele!!!

Wouldn't recommend Miele in a pink fit – It's failed several times and as its 8 years old we've had to pay for the repairs. Now it's failed again. I'm so angry. This is supposed to be a top brand. I recently bought a European competitor's washing machine rather than another Meile product - of which we have more than $10k worth in our kitchen...and the wall oven cooks at 45-60 degrees… Read more

Unbelievable poor quality – Light went out after used it twice, now the magnetron has died after 1 year, absolute crap! MIELE IS CRAP. Will never buy MIELE again, it is overpriced CRAP! You would be better off going to cash converters and getting a second hand Samsung, it would last longer DO NOT BUY MIELE

You can not put a globe in it with out paiying $150 dollars for them to do it nothing. Only 2years o – I will never by miele again I an not change my globe I had a very cheap one be for never had aproblem I have a Miele dish washer two ovens and a washing mashine all miele I will think twis next time miele should come and put a globe in our microwave oven for free

Poor quality – Had this microwave for 4 years before the glue holding the face plate failed and fell off. 6 months later the plastic door latch broke rendering the unit useless. Not impressed with Miele, the price or the quality. I also found the user interface poorly designed and not intuitive to do simple things like reset the clock after a power outage.

Nice microwave - bonkers design – This is a really nice microwave good features - cooks well. Major drawback and bonkers for German design - you cant change the interior bulb without calling out an engineer Completely stupid - OK if the bulb lasted at leat 10 years but we are on our to our 2nd in 4 years. Not impressed. Cooks well - good features Bulb replacement!

Excellent – easy to use , built in auto food menue easy to use, power setting at a twist great idea , built in grill wonderful , does cost more but if you by miele you expect that , looks great and works the same looks great for a built in micro wave , nice good size internal, easy controls

Terrible – As a good looking and stylish "basic" microwave this unit would be great if it cost a lot less and didn't break. As a very expensive unit that has failed twice in 8 months, it's not so good. honestly wish I'd just spent $20 on a new latch for the Panasonic. Looks great. In use for 8 months and has broken twice. Outside of major cities Miele have no support and just use "agents", most of whom are run-of-the-mill repairers who have never seen Miele appliances before.

Auto functions are not self explanatory, they are numbered programs that are meaningless unless you have the manual to check what each program does.

OK – will not buy a miele again because it cost to much to repair ,i can just go buy a new one for the same price of repair. goog looking ,sleek looking very hard to run,broke down needed repairs twice.

Good – Build in design complements other Miele appliances in our kitchen. Very user friendly, love the wattage dial. It took a little getting used to the 10 second increments with the timer dial. Well designed, extremely quiet. Quiet, reliable, easily adjustable wattage, design expensive, 10 second increments for time. Show 3 replies
