Excellent – After I lost a couple of leather shoes and a much loved leather backpack to mould, I decided that we needed a dehumidifier. In the winter, we had humidity levels up to 80% inside our last house. My partner overruled my research opinion and bought one of the most expensive models! However, I didn't regret it. The Mitsubishi is very quiet, we even ran it during the nights in our bedrooms and nobody was disturbed.

The first few weeks, the dehumidifier ran constantly. I set it to 60% and let it run. I think, I had to empty the container at least three times a day! I soon realized that it did a real good job. I had no more losses and the black traces in the bathroom disappeared. I even realized that our boys had less colds.

Even if the Mitsubishi MJ-E16RX is expensive, it is worth it. You're contributing to your own health when getting your home to a humidity level of 50-60%. And a drier home is easier to heat. I haven't seen a contribution on the electricity bill. So I really believe, that we saved money for heating by letting the dehumidifier run. Very quiet. Good results! Child lock (I've got a little one that loves to push buttons ...). One of the more expensive models on the market!

Hi Anne, I have one if you would like to purchase in excellent condition. We live in Tasmania and used it in a damp house for a winter, it has been sitting idle for a couple of years now as we moved. Similar comments to the above it is a fantastic machine also great for drying washing. We paid $800 does $500 suit?
