Easy shelf cleaning.

Guys at Bing Lee were great! Saw the fridge online, and called to find out more. Staff went to the factory to check out my requests, then I paid over the phone.

Efficient, spacious and well designed fridge – I’ve owned this fridge for three years now and, apart from a minor problem with rust, which was repaired under warranty, I’ve been perfectly satisfied with it. PROS STYLISH and PRACTICAL DESIGN The bottom-mount design, with the freezer door underneath is a godsend as it means a lot less bending, compared to a top-mounted fridge. All… Read more

the fridge shelves are easy to get to, with minimum effort.

Accessing the freezer drawer requires just a gentle tilt forward of the hips, as the opening mechanism is simply a groove right at the top of the drawer.

There are no handles on the fridge itself, just a groove or indent in the door, so need to worry about handles getting broken or scratched.

The shelves, bottle racks (in the door) and the vegetable drawer are easily removed for cleaning and simple to put back again.

Shelf heights can be adjusted to suit, or you can simply remove those shelves that you don’t need.

Ample room to store all your food and drinks.

The exterior of the unit is easy to keep clean with a simple wipe down with a damp cloth.

Being silver in colour rather than white, means less visible dirt and no fading, as white fridges are wont to do in this intense Aussie heat.

It looks smart and stylish too and blends in nicely with our grey stone benchtops

LOW NOISE

Only when I read a previous review that complained about the noise, did it even occur to me to mention this, because since buying this fridge three years go, I’ve never been aware of any noise from it. Yes, of course there must be some sound, which could be a problem in a bedsitter, but in a two- or three-bedroom apartment, you’ll hardly notice it. The worst noise you’ll hear is a beep when you’ve left the door open for too long, and that’s a useful reminder to close the door.

EFFICIENT OPERATION

I’ve never had one problem mechanically with this fridge. It’s worked perfectly from Day 1, through three scorching Sydney summers. All our foodstuff stay fresh and cool, and most importantly, the beer is always icy cold.

RESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE

About one year after buying the fridge I noticed some rust spots on the freezer drawer at the top and bottom. I contacted customer service and within a day or so they had sent out a technician to assess it. He quickly established that it needed replacement as it was still under warranty, and two weeks later, I had a brand new freezer drawer. We’ve had no further problem with rust.

I can highly recommend this fridge.

Extremely noisy – Exgremely noisy fridge. Unsuitable for bedsitter. I am not someone to be bother by noise or to be prevented from sleeping easily but we have a Mitsubishi fridge MR-BF325 in a studio and it is so noisy that it prevents me from sleeping. Fridge might be OK in a kitchen but it is totally unsuitable in a bedsitter  Show details

Excellent Looking Fridge Freezer – We purchased this Upside down unit for our Motorhome to replace a unsatisfactory Wacoe 240/12volt fridge freezer at 1/4 of the cost and could not be happier.. Has good even temperature and good acess to the freezer compartment. At 2 stars it's not the most effiecent but no freezer on the bottom units are  Show details

Great Product – I've had this fridge for just over a month. very quiet, maintains temperature well. I really like the the large freezer drawer, holds plenty of food. The stainless steel doors are stylish and easy to keep clean. Has a good quality look and feel to it. Very happy with purchase.  Show details

Well designed, quiet and practical – I'm amazed that Mitsubishi don't highlight the pull out freezer drawer on their website, it's a great feature. The platinum stainless steel finish looks classy and the fridge has a quality feel throughout. The recessed handle may not be in line with the 'bar handle' trend but it's easy to use and will probably last longer than an external handle.… Read more

I've read a review saying its noisy but it's actually very quiet. The key factor fir me was the 5 year warranty, one if the best on the market. M.E have an outstanding reputation for air conditioning systems (read: quality compressors) so it makes sense that their fridges would be the same. Go buy one, you won't regret it. Classy, quiet, practical, fully cold in just 2 hours. The Butter shelf in the door is a little too close to the shelf below.

So cute – Quiet as a mouse and cute as a button. It suits the design of my compact kitchen and has made the kitchen look even better. The space inside is pretty generous. It suits someone who lives alone or a couple. I haven't had any problems with it being noisy. I even had to put my ear up to it when the compressor was on, and it was barely audible. I… Read more

left if sit for 24 hours after it was delivered before I plugged it in...just to be on the safe side. The exterior design is quite sleek too.

The fridge that thinks it's a jet plane – When you purchase a fridge in 2013, is it not reasonable to expect it to be relatively quiet? That it won't make such loud motor noises when it kicks in that it will wake you during the night? It seems Mitsubishi didn't get the memo, as my example at least of this horrid piece of electrical junk seems to wish it was an airliner. They sent a rep to… Read more

check it - who admitted to being hard of hearing (!) - and declared that it was fine. I only know this as I checked with them over a week later, as they hadn't bothered getting back to me. On my experience I would recommend every other brand over these. What you may gain in sleep with their five year warranty you will no doubt lose on that sleep being noise interrupted (and no, I don't sleep in my kitchen...) Umm, it keeps things cold. Insanely and unacceptably loud in operation.

My suggestion to you AmyF, is either have the unit replaced if it is new enough or get it repaired… Read more (+3 replies)
