Helped Calm Withdrawal Symptoms – This product is amazing. I quit cold turkey. Whenever i felt the irritation coming on or that i couldn't make it through the day this stuff really helped!! I'd recommend this product to anyone who needs to take the edge off. Couldn't have done it without these magic natural pills.

Fantastic natural option – I've been struggling with my emotions for a while now and wasn't keen on chemical based tablets. Discovered this product, gave it a try and I feel a lot more level emotionally now. It took 3 weeks to kick in for me. Im an average height and weight female in her 30s. Usual daily struggles. No real health issues. Just over worked and stressed like the rest of us!

Improved my way to cope with work, people and myself – It helps to focus and work in a very productive way comparing to before-use days. Also, it decereased my negative thoughts and I noticed a persistent smile and more positive expectation and attitude in general. It makes me more open to people and less defensive.

Doseage – I was a confused about the doseage but I think (or at least hope) it makes sense if you do the maths. A 2700 mg of nature's own tablet would appear to include 1.35mg of the active ingredient, according to the packet ... or 0.05% of total weight. That compares with 0.3 % in the trials that used the 3 by 300mg doses… Read more

(http://answers.webmd.com/answers/1184980/what-is-the-recommended-dosage-for). This may be something to do with the fact that Nature's Own uses top flowers, or it could be some other reason, I don't know. If you take 3 by 300mg at 0.3% active ingredient you get a daily does of 2.7mg of active ingredient which is the same if you take 2 by 2700mg at 0.05%. Maths is not my strong point and I am not a doctor or scientist so I could have botched the figures. I take one nature's own 2700mg a day (on my calculation, 1.35 mg of active ingredient, in fact that is what the packet seems to be saying). That seems safe enough, if the calculation is right, and hope to cut it down to half. The dose I am taking is very effective. Exercise, trying new things (e.g. new sports), keeping off the booze, and watching your thought patterns are very important but the SJW seems to take the edge off and give you a platform to focus on those things.

I think it would be good if some reputable institution (e.g Beyond Blue) published reliable comparitive tables explaining all the doseages, subject to the caveat that they would be relying on what the manufacturer tells them.

Good but confused re. Dosage? – I am happy with the product for it's anti- depression effects. I highly recommend it for anyone who cannot tolerate prescriptive anti-depressants with all their side effects, for as much as depression is debilitating, it doesn't help to add further debilitating health problems on top of it- even more depressing. My only concern and query is why is… Read more

dosage 2700mg- a bit high in comparison to other products and standard recommended daily dosage being 300mg 3x a day. Natures own st johns wort 2700 recommends 2 tablets of 2700mg= 5400mg a day. I thought that was high so I only take one- 2700mg a day at night, but still way over 900mg recommended daily dosage. Am feeling alot better mentally however after a few weeks my hormones and mental cycle are being strongly affected. I only realised recently that it could be the St John's wort after speculating other worse case scenarios. I've read it it good for PMS so it seems to be more than an anti- depressant. I suffer from PMS and severe period pain so any help is a God-send, however I don't really like the extreme breast tenderness and second period in this month. Does anyone know more on this? Why such a high dosage 2700mg etc. I am going to cut tablets in half and hope I receive benefits without the crazy hormonal effects as am hesitant to stop all together for fear of depression relapse. Depression relief. Strong dosage/ hormonal - menstrual cycle craziness.

Excellent – I recommend this to everyone who is feeling tired and worn-out from anxiety, and/or tired from not sleeping well. Due to stress and lack of sleep, I couldn't think as clearly as I normally would. I was forgetful and stressed. Now, thanks to St John's Wort, I'm back to my normal self -- not anxious and panicky anymore, able to think things through… Read more

and make plans. Easy! I got this on sale at the grocery store (Countdown) for $12.99, it was on sale as it was just past it's best-by date. It's AMAZING, I've been feeling tired and stressed and having trouble sleeping for the past couple of years, and within a week of starting to take this, I was feeling better. I've had countless blood tests for low iron, thyroid, glandular fever, etc. Nothing ever worked until this. Now I don't get so upset over every little thing anymore, and I can fall asleep and stay asleep every night! After 1 month, this has made a HUGE difference in my life. Sometimes I have very mild dry mouth, like I'm thirsty. But it's not severe (I was on antidepressants many years ago and they gave me a really uncomfortable dry mouth), and just a small glass of water is enough to make the feeling go away. It's actually a good thing because now I'm drinking more water, lol.

Excellent – An affordable product, easy to find in supermarkets and chemists. Does help with stress and anxiety if a mild case. Anything stronger prescription medication probably works better. Does what it says.

Great for coping with a new job – My husband started a job that entailed handling a multitude of difficult situations. He had a meltdown one day at work and I suggested he try St John's Wort. I told him that it is not an overnight fix and that it would take up to 6 weeks (Christmas) to kick in. It has made a a tremendous difference. He is not stressing as much and can sleep a… Read more

lot better.

One of his workers also commented that he was handling problems very well.

He is also eating better and drinking more water during the day which has helped improve his stress levels. Great for coping with a new job Can't think of any.
