Good – Overall, this navigator is quite reliable and takes you where you need to go. Be sure you understand the way it talks though before you buy it beacuse it may confuse you. For example if you were at a round-about adn it said take the first exit you turn left, if it said the second exit go straight and if it sais the 3rd exit turn right. Alos you… Read more
can easliy find paking or petrol wherever you are by simply pressing the parking or petrol buttons at the top. nice, slim design. Come with an attatching thing so you can stick it to your car. Sometimes it can take a while to find the GPS signal.
OK – Nice Hardware, works great but needs updated maps. A lot has changed since 2006. Maps can only be obtained from NAVMAN UK store. Nice compact design, easy to use, and seem to work as designed. The problem I have with this unit is that the maps are getting outdated and NAVMAN doesn't have an online store in the US. Yes you could buy the hardware but… Read more
goodluck looking for updated maps (well at leaset for my iCN 530). Maps are only available in their UK online store. Either that this, no complains
Good – Overall we have found this Navman to be very helpful indeed. We moved interstate a year ago and although we know a lot more than the Navman does in our own suburbs close to home it has certainly pulled us out of a pickle on many occasions...especially when it is nightime as you don't want to be sitting on the side of the road messing around with a… Read more
street directory. The Navman takes a little getting used to with it's directions/instruction as 'bear left' does not mean turn left just stick to left lane and/or follow road to left and sometimes you may find you know a better way than the Navman (depending on your settings ie: shorter distance or quicker time?) in which case you take the roads you know and then let the Navman re-calculate route and it will eventually catch on...just ignore it's requests to "Do a U Turn Now!" etc. Lastly we paid around $350.oo quite awhile ago so I would hope they are a lot cheaper now! Widescreen! Clear Voice! Price! Can be a little fiddy putting address details in when using your finger, really needs a stylus attached or you are better off using a pen
Good – the navman is a great item if you are not too familiar with the suburbs or city, shows you alternate routes. if you go off track will find the way back for you. also shows petrol station, atms and handy things like that. recently used to drive through back roads, would not of know way there or way out, without my navman. also handy if someone else… Read more
happens to be lost, not know way, can type in where they are and it will give you turn by turn directions to where ever you need to be. differnt voices to choice from. clear, easy to see. can set speed limit and will buzz at you where you go over, also buzzes at school zones. nothing worth mention
Good – Bought during sales time and it's really good especially for female user. No hassle on using it compare to the map book. the only disadvantages are not all the countries maps you will get from Navman and you might find some of the places are not up to date. Clear voice, clear map and wide screen! sensitive touch screen.not enought other countries maps!!
Terrible – Useless, absolute wast of money, have gone back to using a map until i can sell it and buy a tomtom. As a professional driver i find the routing bizarre, select "less" motorways and it will give you exactly the same route. there is no facility to vary your preferences, no matter how you set it it will always go to the same route no matter how ridiculouse that route is.
Good – Overall, I recomend this navigator but there are newer ones so they could possibly be a better option. But otherwise it's a good navigator and I've never had any problems with it and Iv'e had it for about two years. It's reliable and takes you where you need to go. It could be better and easier if they told you the street name you had to turn into… Read more
but I think they're on some of the newer ones so I think I'll have to update mine. Also when the sun shines on the screen it's hard to see it.
