Bad Choice all round – I bought the 8kg as i have a large family, i had it serviced every 6mths and kept it very clean and tidy, 6mths after purchase it started to stop during the rinse cycle then that followed with the lint bags falling apart, only to find out that nec doesn't make them anymore so no lint bags has been a huge problem. the next problem started after a year, it would always unbalance & it got to the point where i would have to hand wring the whole load and only put in 2-3 items at a time for it to spin without it unbalancing, i spent many hours in tears standing over the machine hand wringing with 5 kids needing feeding etc....i gave up on trying to get nec to return my calls to help me so i would call local repairs to do the job only to make it worse. after 2yrs it started leaking from the bottom, so for all these yrs i have hand wringed and replaced towels under machine to stop leaking water from destroying my home as come to and end... a full load of water gushed through my house causing thousands of dollars in damage, thanks nec for your help (not) i am now without a washer! and now i need to find away to replace my ruined floating floor boards through out (120sq meters) well least you want have me calling you every 4-6wks (as if that made a difference).

JO Folding lid and good height Unbalances, cycle times are out of whack, leaks water from under machine (so you can't soak your clothes) and can't buy replacement lint bags
