Nestle Allens Jaffas

Outer orange coating ok not as orange flavoured as i remember. Chocolate interior tastes like unknown chemicals. Awful. Threw 2 packets received on my birthday away. Not at all up to the quality I associate with Allen’s products. Don’t go there! Show details
Haven't eaten for a few years and won't ever again. Bland tasting and chocolate has a horrible dry consistency. Show details

Horrible, cheap tasting chocolate the egg and the "Jaffas" inside. Not what I recall Jaffa's to be at all. I liken it to the unsavory flavor of chocolate made with palm oil; Just ferral. Unable to finish eating it and threw out the uneaten half.

Environmental packaging – Love that the sweets are packaged in a paper bag . Still looks good and strong but let recycling start with the manufacturer. Excellent start thanks
Chemical taste – Yes, a chemical taste! No wonder sales have dropped. Do they even test taste their own product? Can't eat them. Put in bin. So disappointed. Not the jaffa I grew up with. Taste like petrol or something from a machine oil or detergent got in there. Multiple packets too. Show details

Chemical taste? – Bought a pack of Jaffa’s in Adelaide and was best before oct 2020 even though bought in dec. Tried a couple of 2 separate occasions but had a weird chemical taste?? Anyone else experienced this? Show details
What happened to The Jaffas I loved – I bought a 340 gram m bag of Jaffas on sale for $4.00 from Woolies. There was no orange flavour in the shell coating and no choc flavour in the centre and they seemed smaller and odd shaped compared to the old days. Very poor quality and worst than generic brands Show details
Can't live without them – Love the dark chocolate inside, and the outer hard shell just makes it better-but it seems their days are numbered-can no longer buy them anywhere, just like Columbines which disappeared a year ago with no notice. And they were the best caramels ever-much better than Fantales.
Smarties in a Jaffa Packet! – I love Jaffas but not smarties! I have recently had a couple of packets of Jaffas where smarties have snuck into the bag. Not sure about their quality control process???
missing something – i love the combination of orange and chocolate but this just did not do it for me, the chocolate was not rich enough the orange flavor not flavorfull enough it lacked tasted and the sugar coating was too hard, if you can I would suggest haigs orange chocolate or the orange chocolate M&M's - those are amazing! i hate giving poor reviews but i would have preferred to know before i bought them! the price is good though- i got a packet for $2.50
Good – Nestle Jaffas are circular shaped, and have a crunchy, Jaffa outer layer and soft chocolaty inside layer. They can be consumed by themselves or crushed to use in cupcakes or sprinkled on top of ice cream. I've also found them to be great fun for the kids in the game of 'hit the Jaffa', whereby a Jaffa is rolled down a spiral with the aim to crush… Read more
it at the end. Inexpensive, found in local supermarkets I once purchased a packet with almost all the jaffas crushed, which was not useful since I needed them whole for cake decoration. Also there aren't a variety of sized packs.
