A good no-frills credit card – I have had this card for several years, and it is now the only credit card I use. It was easy to apply for, and has been very easy to obtain additional cards (for additional cardholders), and increasing the limit when required was very easy. There aren't any fees if you have a mortgage with the Teachers Credit Union, and you can transfer money instantly from other TCU accounts to the credit account (and vice-versa). It has a VERY low interest rate when compared to the banks and store credit cards. Low interest rate, easy to increase/decrease the limit, no fees when linked to a large loan, a 'true' interest period It doesn't have a rewards program like other cards, but what you save in interest makes up for it

OK – I reviewed this product in the past (2007) and loved it but much has changed since. The fees. The limits. The thickness of the new cards also means they break and crack ever so easily. (Then one is charged a replacement card fee. That stinks!). Number of transactions is unrealistically low now ... meaning having to do larger cash advances and therefore being at the risk that comes with carrying more money around. Like Visa cards with all providers, it's well accepted. The debit feature is okay - using own money for credit card style purchases. Monthly fee introduced early 2009. Transaction limits have changed dramatically. Card robustness/durability.

Good – Its a great card to have and as a Public Educator I find it extremely important to support the Teachers's Credit Union. I think everyone should have one of these cards if they belong to the Teacher's Credit Union. It is good that it is linked to savings and you can use the credit facility also. A little inconvinient to pay as you have to go to specific places to pay as there are no branches closeby.

Good – Very good credit card. We opened an account with the Teachers Credit Union because they have low fees/no fees and low interest rates. The telephone banking and online banking are very straightforward and easy to use. The downside to the credit union is that there are not many branches available and so you may have to travel if you need to do any face to face transactions (you can use the NAB to deposit money though)It would be nice to have some sort of rewards program with this card. I would recommend this card to anyone. Low fees and interest rate Not many branches available
