Excellent – We bought this camera quite a few years ago. We really liked it apart from it being a but bulky but with the 10x zoom you can expect that. We would still have it but I dropped it one to mnay times and we lost the front lens. The rest of it held up though. We always thought that there were probably too many functions for us and it added to the cost. We went on to buy a Sony snap shot camera and were really disappointed in it. Especially as we used this one when our daughter was a newborn. We have since picked up another Olympus C760 on the internet second hand for $60 and I really regret that I wrecked the first one as it is still a gem all these years later. It is only 3.2mp and in this day and age that is unheard of but it takes fantastic photos. Takes fantastic clear photos and the zoom is amazing. Good strong camera that is still going well after all these years. Bit bulky.

Good – Has been a fantastic camera. Easy to use. Colours and picture quality is above average. Excellent in sports photos. The zoom feature brings it all up close. All the features and modes, sports, night, macro work as per promise. Have taken some real arthouse shots of nature etc close up. Only problem is when the surrounding light is dim. Still trying to work this one out. In pitch black i have taken shots of family beside car during lunar eclipse that were perfectly clear, (i was close by) on the other hand using it in a school hall to take shots of kids on stage where i had to utilise the zoom to max the shots were very poor quality. The removable lithium battery charges up nice and quick and lasts a whole day if not more of turning on and off and zooming in and out, taking shots all day. Hasn't skipped a beat in two years, there may be others with similar specs on the market at the moment that are more slim line, lighter easy to carry around. At the moment really well priced compared to when it first appeared on the market i paid around 600 for it. I believe its only around 200-300 now. the 10x zoom is unbeatable bulky compared to other slim line models
