Good – I have been very happy with this camera. Having not used a DSLR before I have spent a fair bit of time learning how to use one properly but using the settings on the camera for various situations (sunset, fireworks, beach and snow etc) the camera can easily be used as a point and shoot and turn out great images. Add it to the great lense packages and you have a very good set up. Very easy to use, sharp exposures, easy to store images to PC Difficult to use auto focus in low light conditions

Good – I love this camera. It's a great entry level DSLR camera. I bought it as a twin lens kit with the 14-42mm and 70-300mm lens for just under $1000. Lenses sell for $200-$500 each so if buying one get the twin lens kit. It allows you to shoot close up nature shots or birds flying. There are several automatic scene settings such as sunsets, action, portrait, landscape, city lights, and many more. Changing lenses is quick and easy too. I don't bother with live view as I feel it's not necessary. Many auto focus settings allows you to take great photos without having to make any adjustments. The battery remains charged for a very long time. Changing lenses is quick and easy. The instruction booklet isn't very helpful.
