Olympus SP-590 Ultra Zoom

Good – Overall a great, easy to use camera and I am really enjoying it. Picture quality is fantastic. It would be worth shopping around as I suspect I paid a bit too much at a major retailer. Generally very easy to use even if you don't know a lot about photography. Camera requires AA Batteries - much more convenient than my previous camera which used model specific batteries. Fantastic zoom function and great for taking photo's at kids sporting events. A few too many functions for my liking - gives the camera a bit of a gimmicky feel. However my kids love playing with some of the functions available.
