Good – Great camera which will hopefully outlast the last camera (different brand) owned by our teenager. Having an internal lens with zoom function is a great idea as it allows the camera to be sand and water proof. viewing screen - don't know how scratch proof it is yet. Good quality photos with many editing options at 7.1 mp. The Xd cards used in Olympus cameras seem to be more expensive than the SD used in our old camera. The camera itself was reasonably priced considering its features and the fact that replacing the lens in our old camera which was damaged by sand getting in would have cost approximately 70% (labour not included) of the cost of this Olumpus 790sw. Love it's toughness. Brought to replace a camera damaged by sand entering the lens at the beach. As my daughter takes her camera everywhere, she needed something that would withstand the 'throwing into bottom of bag' syndrome. Easy to use. Impressed by the onscreen menu which can show in 4 side by side windows, how the photo would look under different settings! Camera lens is housed within the camera with no protruding lens. Cost of the XD memory card needed in Olympus cameras.

Good – great camera, use it heaps, good buy and i doubt u will reget buying it. i kno i havnt and wont great strength, good size screen and just a dam good camera dont take it into the surf if over 2ft.. broke and had 2 get a new one under warrenty.. great camera dont get me wrong, just remeber its tough but not invicible

Good – I really enjoy using this camera. I can navigate easily through the menu, it looks great, and its fun and easy to use underwater. I haven't tested it in the cold yet but i hope to next holiday. is great for clumsy people like myself. The colour options are really funky. We bought this camera whilst on holidays and took it snorkelling, we got some great shots of fish and coral. The price is pretty good considering the quality of the camera, we got crystal clear pics even underwater. The zoom isn't the best but it's definitely reasonable. Although it is shock proof it isn't scratch proof. I have dropped it once and it didn't break but i did give it a chip, so you still have to be careful if you want the camera to look good.

winner as is the easy to learn menu and options. Great to take on holidays where you go to the beach, snorkelling etc...no need to worry about getting it wet like most cameras! none, other than the smallish memory card that came with it.
