This microwave has been dependable and is sturdy – This microwave has been really dependable for over 5 years and still going strong. Heat is even when heating food and it works fast. Easy to clean as well. Programming is easy to understand. Like other reviewer that rates this microwave, never had an issue with bulb or sparking and is not noisy at all. Waste of money – Crappiest microwave ever! Only bought it to get the surround for my new kitchen so it looks in built. Globe blew straight away and cost too much to replace so we said forget it. Have been cooking food in the dark ever since. It's very noisy and vibrates something terrible. Now it has stopped cooking the food all together but still shows the time and makes that terrible noise.  Show details

Don't Touch unless you want to burn your house down – Had one for 8 months and it stopped working. Got a replacement that lasted 12 months. Started sparking and white flashes as the electronics tried to burn through the stainless steel. Spoke to Omega and the 2 year warranty starts from the first item. No warranty on the replacement. Screen fogs up, door lets out steam so the radiation would also be coming out.

Hopeless – Had it for 12 months, always sparked when cooking. Had it repaired under warranty and still kept happening. Now 1 month out of warranty the place of purchase and omega will not touch it. It does not heat now and will be thrown out. Feeling annoyed. Microwaves should last longer than 12 months! The handle Sparked when cooking like it was going to blow up.

Blew up after 3 months they refuse to fix – This microwave was brand new when we brought out house but because we are not the original owners warrantee is void! The microwave fogs up the screen everytime you cook, then after 3 months it stopped working! Omega customer service were very unprofessional and rude! Will never buy from them. Terrible – Never buy Omega again. The light bulb blew in the first week, the technician came to fix it however Omega charge $60+ just for call out fee. It blew again within a couple of weeks so we just gave up. Wouldn't pay another $60 just for a light bulb. Also hated the NOISE level...incredibly noisy machine. Had finished cooking 10 mins prior and I went to open the door and this huge spark/flame came out of this Omega microwave oven. Frightened the life out of me as well.

We have an Omega Oven as well. That blew an element 2 months ago and Omega quoted $267 for a new one... That doesn't include the $60 - $70 call out fee or labour charged in 15 min increments to put it in. $500 for a new element!! Forget IT. Now we have no way to cook at all..No Microwave..no oven and no excess finances to replace either let alone pay Omega their capitalistic piggy rip off fees....Avoid this company like the plague!

Terrible – Highly recommend others NOT to buy your product.The manuel should show how to replace a simple Bulb....This to me is a signe of a rip off..... Excellent – My parents have this microwave and I am considering buying it for my brand new apartment as the rest of my appliances in the kitchen are Omega, they had it since 2004 and it's the best. I have no idea what some people are saying about light bulb, maybe it was just bad luck with theirs. I recommend this product! Reliable Quiet Easy to Use

Excellent – I love this microwave! Love having a handle so its fast to get food in and out. The plate warmer option is heavily used in my household. Getting my mum one for mothers day. Modern, functional, easy to use
