Omega OC64BA / OC64XA

Not what i'd would buy – The Omega OC64BA ceramic cooking hob came with a new unit i have purchased recently. The item itself seems OK, no problems with quality but in general, now that i have tried a Ceramic cooktop i wouldnt buy one. The temperature control is no where as accurate as a Gas cooktop. I said before no problems with quality and i dont know if this is typical of ceramic cooktops but after a few uses the glass top looses its 'look' and black marks appear around the cooking circles and the white circles defining the four cook areas start to disappear. In my opinion Go Gas if you can. Although it wont be cheap i will be converting as soon as i can. looked good day 1 looked used day 2
