Perfect size – I wanted to purchase a big 90cm electric cooktop with 5 zones and I found this one. I didn't want to purchase an induction cooktop because I would have to throw away my old non induction pots . The zones are well spaced out and it works very well. Very happy with it and I recommend it.

Great cooktop! – We have only recently replaced our old coil electric cooktop with the Omega and I am so far very happy with our purchase! We had to find a long design as our old one was also long and we wanted it to cover the old hole in the bench. It's easy to use, heats fast and looks great! It's probably not as high-end as other brands but for the price, we're very happy.
Others have complained about the cleaning of it, but we haven't had any issues. I clean it after each use and there's no marks as yet.
Very badly made and expensive – After 2 years the first element died. It was replaced under warranty It would have cost some $ 600. After a wile a second element failed (It would have cost some $ 600). Then a third element failed. (It would have cost some $ 600). At is stage all repairs would have cost more than the $ 1,400 than we paid for the cooktop. Also the surface, due to the high temerature of the radiation from the element, started to look wery unsightly !
Instead of repairing it at $ 1,200, we "disposed of it ".
Bought a German brand induction cooktop and never looked back.
The Omega experience was a LET-DOWN ! Not much to like about it. Expensive to buy and maintain and definitely not durable !
Terrible – would never purchase this item again as I had problems from the start and did have quite a long conversation with administration to get a solution. looks good It had to be replaced after just 6 weeks of use, fortunately Omega gave me a full cash refund as this item was deemed not repairable. I purchased another brand of cooktop.
Excellent – I can't live without it! I have recommended it to friends building new homes, and they all agree the size of it is just fantastic! You can literally have 5 massive saucepans/pots on the go at once! The only thing I beg Omega to do is provide an instruction book you don't have to go to Uni to figure out! Massive 29cm hob which fits my biggest Bessemer pots! Perfect size hobs for pressure cookers. Heats like a dream and keeps temperature constant. Lots of space between hobs allowing you to easily move pots around. Easy to clean. Appliances Online delivered it overnight, and replaced it 3 times due to uneven hobs - just brilliant service!!! Beeps constantly if you leave anything over the indicator lights. Does not like wet fingers pressing on indicators - tends to turn all hobs off. Instruction manual is ridiculous - has 500 unecessary languages and only basic diagrams for every model but yours.
Well, Heinz - I've have my Omega cooktop for over 13 years now and it is still going strong, so like everything in life, you can always get a lemon, but this is one terrific cooktop!!!

Ca 4 years ago we purchased the "high quality, as advised by E&S)" 90 cm Omega cooktop. The first element burnt out in two years (warranty)
The second element burnt out after 3 years; cost: $ 520.00
The third element burnt out today; advised cost $ 520.00
The $ 1,040 are ca 2/3 of the cost of a new cooktop, ridiculous !
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !
