Shocking oven never had such a lemon – Haven't been able to use for about 2Years ,fills with smoke sounds like its going to explode. I am very frightened of it .I will never buy Omega again

Terrible – Unless Omega can give some assurance that the door can be upgraded so that it wont explode, I cannot recommend this oven. Cooks a good cake. Heat seems pretty even. The internal glass just exploded. I was preheating it for pizzas and it shattered with a bang before we got a chance to put them in. I have asked Alintan (the service and repair agent for Omega in Australia) for some assurance that, if repaired, the door wouldn't explode again. Their only reply was that the door is built to Australian Standards. So I'm unsure what exactly that means for the ongoing safety of this appliance...
