Omega wd 1052 – Somerset apartments has this installed. Never seen anything more user un-friendly than this. The dryer mode did not dry the clothes, so I set it for more time and went to sleep, and in the morning found it filled with water. How can a washer dryer leave water filled in it at the end of 'any' cycle?

Horrible, horrible machine – This was the washer/dryer provided in our rental property and we've had nothing but issues with it since we moved in. I don't know how old it is, or how much it cost but it is a complete waste of money. First of all, even reading the instructions I had no clue how to make it work. The buttons and dials are impossible to decipher. It takes… Read more

forever to do a wash or dry cycle, and it doesn't even do it effectively. Most of the clothes come out still soapy even when I use the minimum amount of detergent and you have to run a full dryer cycle at 2 hours just to get stuff dry. You can't dry very much in there either, just a few things at a time. We lived in an apartment with very little space for clothes airers so a dryer was necessary but this really didn't cut it.

Takes FOREVER to wash/dry, tiny capacity, very noisy and near impossible to operate.

Terrible – noisy, bulky, non efficent, breaks at least once a year and this is in it's first 2 years so far, not easy to get parts for, fixer people all day don't ever buy omega, leaks water everywhere, will sometimes wash items when you have put them into dry, can only take 1 type of washer liquid, can not handle powder liquid, leaves clothes with an uneven… Read more

wash ohhh so many other reasons - lucky we are renting and it is part of the package If you buy this item at least you know it will die at some stage

Terrible – Although the manufacturer has always repaired or replaced this at no cost to us (even after the warranty expired!) it is a complete pain because each time you are out of action for 2 to 3 weeks (the last time it was 4 weeks). The machine is clearly rubbish which is why we are now on this site trying to get some feedback for a new machine before… Read more

we buy. Manufacturers Warranty Everything else. We bought the original WD1052 about 3 years ago. 6 months of trouble free use. Then 4 warranty service calls over next 3 months and the drying cycle could not be fixed. They gave us a new machine, the WD1052.2 model, great for 6 months followed by 2 switch boards having to be replaced.

Bad – Lately I did noticed that the printed circuit board(module)is in fault a lot maybe because the washing capacity if the m/c is 5kgr bur drying capacity is 2,5kgr so I can see a problem there. By the way is any one out there able to send me a schematic drowing of the circuit of that board to try to fix it if is possible? This m/c is compact and space saver. Going faulty very quick

Bad – Not a huge fan of combined waher/dryers. Probbaly good for a bachelor but avoid at all costs if you do a lot of washing. Compact, takes up little room. The sensitive wash cycle is quick and washes items well. Drying cycle is 'humidity free' and relatively quiet. Drying cycle takes forever! Only 2.5kg capacity so you can only dry a small load. The… Read more

drying cycle has to run the full course (2hrs) before the items are dried to your liking so you can't just pop a damp towel in for 10mins like conventional dryers. Broke down just out of warranty and virtually impossible to find a service agent.. plus they take ages to come out and fix it.
